I am unable to get the caller announcement turned off for my cellphone calls. The landline calls do not announce - feature works. Please confirm that this feature does not work on the cellphone calls.

Rarely used handset shuts down completly when you hit talk, then yoiu have to wait 1 minute and it will fire up and work normally. This occured with OEM and new batteries.

Bought this to replace an expensive landline with a less expensive cell phone plan/phone paired to this product. Unfortunately, the answering system (pretty important don't you think?) only works if you have a landline connected. Product information implies you can use this product with either a cell phone, landline, or both .... not true for full feature set.

I purchased this phone a few years ago and have to say that overall the functions are good, the numbers and screen readable but a MAJOR headache for me is the fact that when getting an incoming call while already on a call, I press the flash/call wait button to go to answer it; I can BUT I CANNOT TOGGLE BACK TO MY ORIGINAL CALLER OR CALL AS IT DISCONNECTS BOTH CALLS!!! I used to be able to do so with my old phones, and tried countless times to get to the bottom of the issue to no avail after being shuffled back and forth multiple times between Panasonic and my cable company as I have cable phone service. So to this day, whenever I receive an incoming call whilst on a call, I have to take the phone away from my ear to look at the screen and hope that the incoming call is a number that I recognize so I can return their call, as the call-waiting feature is USELESS!!

The design is great. I have been trying to unpair my cell phone from the unit as outlined on page #45 of Owners Operating Instructions. The phone ask for # ___ . Three digits the manual has four digits for this process. Chat is a joke. I waited for chat three times more than 20 minutes.

The LIVE CHAToption NEVER WORKED on their site and I could never figure out, despite hours of pouring over the manual, how to access the Menu properly. All input requires knowing how to do this but there is no explanation as to how to do this. It is NOT straightforward! And there was no contact # or way to email with this question.

Bought the KX-TGE274S unit 2 weeks ago and was excited because of the Link2Cell and Bluetooth technologies. I always use my phones on Speakerphone on the handset so I can be mobile and do things at the same time. It was terribly low volume on each headset. I thought it was a defect, but just to be sure I did problem solving before contacting tech support. I tested multiple phone calls to cells and landlines and the same scenario. Plugged it in at a friends' house, same thing. Then I called product support and also chatted with them. Terrible service provided by Panasonics' DH rep on chat. Couldn't get through to a live person. I've bought Panasonic phones for years for myself and my elderly father who couldn't hear that well and they worked well for both of us, but NOT THIS MODEL. Poor product and very disappointed, but especially, in the support service. I'm not ordering another Panasonic phone after that experience.

I have owned the KXTGE270 (base and 4 hand sets) for approx. 3 months. The menu options are confusing to the point of indecipherable. Just try reviewing and then erasing messages; it takes about 10 or more button pushes just to accomplish this one task. Yesterday the phone went silent; connections are made with other parties but I can't hear them and they can't hear me. Now this morning there is no dial tone. Online Chat Support was less than helpful. So I tried finding the manual online at the Panasonic website. Again, I'm lost in the matrix! Where is the link to the manual? I will now be porting all calls to my cel phone and returning the Panasonic to the retailer for a refund.

Link to cell is an awesome feature! Easy to use with good instructions as needed. Like call block feature. Transferred cell phone book to phones with ease. Sound quality is excellent! Panasonic is a dependable brand!

Large keys, easy to use. Phone book archaic, difficult to use.....way behind the times. Number block a gift from heaven. Feels like constructed from cheap plastic because it is. Very good range.

I purchased this as a last resort at communication for my almost blind and mobility compromised 88-year old mother who lives in assisted living. All of her friends and family other than myself are long distance and she needed to use a cell phone to prevent LD charges. Her flip phone was no longer usable because of the small buttons and small viewing screen. This Panasonic bridged the gap perfectly with its large buttons, large viewing screen, and larger handset. She can now use it to make and receive calls to friends and family due to the Bluetooth connection to her cell phone. The only drawback I see thus far (purchased 9/1/16) has been the documentation. I agree with the others that it was not intuitive and confusing, but I persevered and managed to make all the connections work.

Purchased this phone set to replace a 2-handset cordless phone and a desk phone. Reception and voice quality are good. The base unit is on the second floor and the other handsets are on the first - no problem. The displays are clear and easy to read, and the light comes on when a call comes in or you lift the handset. Connection to existing voice mail service is seamless. Setup was fairly easy although the manual instructions for some of the features are a bit confusing. Have only had the phone a few weeks and have not yet tested the link to ce?l, the speaker, or the headset jack, all of which we plan to use eventually.

Bluetooth to cell set up is not intuitive but ultimately I was able to link my iPhone 6 to the units. Did not think I needed the feature but now I have found it very useful. You do not need to run around looking for cell, just pick up cordless handset. Range from base to cell is very good, you can leave your cell in another room and always have access from anywhere there is a cordless. Using AAA batteries allows you to increase the back up power time by installing larger capacity AAA batteries such as Panasonic Eneloop Pro.

love caller block, better than previous Panasonic system. Have to check and make sure phone is still working. Being able to transfer numbers from old system to new would have been a great feature

I have owned this phone system for around 1 year. It has performed wonderfully. I dropped one handset and the display stopped working. Called customer support and they quickly replaced it.

I love the fact that I don't have to update the time and date every time the power goes out. I also like the ability to import my phone book. And blocking calls is another great feature.

Received the phone system within 10 days, and it more than meets our expectations. It works very well, exactly as the reviews and specs had said. Am very happy with our product!

This is a great phone and easy to set up. The link-to-cell bluetooth is also easy to setup and use.

This phone system works very well with Magic Jack VOIP Sound quality is great, Didn't know how bad my old Panasonic 800MHZ phone had degraded until this system was hooked up. Setting up the phone was a breeze. when you set the time on one the rest of the phones auto update. Have not setup the Bluetooth feature for using cells phone but looking forward to be able to answer cell from these handsets. If you are looking for replacement phones for your home get these no questions asked !!

I'm pretty unhappy with this phone. One handset has to be sent for repair, another didn't allow use (message saying: use rechargeable battery, when I was using the rechargeable battery that came with the phone). When I switched batteries with those in a second handset, both handsets worked. This isn't the quality/dependability I expect from Panasonic.

I have used Panasonic for years but did not have a problem until all the iphones, ipads, ipods, laptops came to use. I like using my landline phone when I am home and for my business. The problem is when you try to use it in a room where there my be an iphone, ipad, pc, and laptop, there is a lot of static and the signal breaking up. I ordered new phones relying on the new reviews you said you had made it better with less interference which is not the case. You also gave it larger buttons which was suppose to be better for older people to see, but the buttons are extremely hard to push even for myself and I am not elderly. So I see it as improvements need to be made to address these issues. I even ordered one of your other models which was supposed to be high tech guaranteed no interference and and the problem was even worst.

Not a single problem since the first day I received it. And it's been working great for two months. The range is amazing. Replaced my Vtech with this one, and now I am sold!

This phone's clarity is exceptional! No more "What did you say" or "Can you repeat that". Love that the headsets go with any base. Only thing I noticed is that the ring volume could be a little louder. But I am extraordinarily pleased with this purchase!

The reason that I bought the (2014) KX-TGE275S was that I was originally going to buy the (2012) KX-TG7745S because of its features, great reviews and recommendation from Consumer Reports, even though it lacked some features that I really wanted, (power back-up and only 30 call blocking numbers instead of 250 like the newer models). I had also considered the (2013) KX-TG7875S because it had the other features that I wanted, but the reviews that I read repeatedly referred to how difficult it w...

Great for call blocking
By Anonymous
I purchased this phone because I could block calls for an entire area code (since I was getting multiple calls a day from a place that changed their number every day). It also has the option to suppress the first ring so I don't hear the ring for a blocked call.
Sync smartphone to home phone, no landline required
Link up to two smartphones to make and receive cell calls with Link2Cell handsets
Never miss a text with talking ID alerts from Link2Cell handsets
Find misplaced cell phones with a button on the base
Dial easily with large buttons on handsets and base
Hear messages, call back and more with Smart Function Key
Link up to 2 Cell Phones
Feature that lets you sync your cell or smart phone to your Panasonic home phone handset. Cell phone calls can then be made or received using your Panasonic handset.
Talking Text Sender Alert
When a call comes in through your linked cell or Smartphone (Link2Cell), the handset will announce the name or phone number of the sender using the text-to-speech function.
Easy-to-use Big Buttons on Handset & Base
The Smart Function Key button on the handset and the base unit offer a single-click solution to accessing other features, such as retrieving voice messages, viewing missed calls, receiving calls or turning alarms off.
Advanced TAD Functions
Panasonic keeps you in touch with Advanced Answering Device Functions on select models. Now you can be alerted to recorded messages whether you're at home or on the road. When a caller records a message, the base unit will beep alerting those in the house. Not at home? The phone will automatically send a message to a registered cell or office phone along with playback options.
Enhanced Noise Reduction
The Enhanced Noise Reduction feature available on select 2014 models lets you suppress background noise around the caller while simultaneously enhancing their voice making it easier to hear them. So a parent getting a call from their teenager at a concert can hear what time to pick them up or when a friend calls from a noisy ballgame, you can hear where to meet afterwards.
Key Detector Compatible
Attach the optional Key Detector to your car key ring or other easily misplaced items and forget about ever losing them ever again. Using any of your telephone handsets, you can activate the Key Detector's beeping alarm and quickly track down your lost keys. Key Detector's powerful range finds objects up to 200 yards away so you'll find whatever's lost whether it's upstairs, in your car or in the yard. You can register up to four Key Detectors and give each a distinctive name, like Dave's keys, Sharon's keys, etc.
Power Back-Up Operation
A powerful battery back-up system keeps you connected when the power goes out. Keep a charged handset in the base unit and you can still make and receive calls with the other cordless handsets.
Talking Caller ID
Now you can hear who's calling from across the room without having to get up. Using text-to-speech technology, Panasonic phones featuring Talking Caller ID announce caller ID information in between rings.
