The Panasonic POC504L2 Day/Night Camera Package consists of a WV-CP504 Day/Night camera and a 2.8-12mm varifocal lens. In addition, the camera is enclosed in a secure housing, that helps protect it from extreme weather conditions, thus making it suitable for surveillance purposes.

Featuring a 1/3 interline transfer CCD sensor and a minimum illumination of 0.04 lux, the WV-CP504 offers clear images in bright light and low light conditions. It supports a resolution of 650TVL in color mode and 700TVL in B/W mode. Featuring a combination of the Super Dynamic, ABS (Adaptive Black Stretch) and i-VMD (intelligent-Video Motion Detection) compensation technologies, the Super Dynamic 5 feature enhances image quality. The i-VMD function includes video motion detection and object detection (removal and left behind). In addition, it also detects changes in scenes that occur due to covering, spray painting, removal or defocusing of the lens.
