Amazing wide angle lens
I love wide angle zooms and this lens is a must for L-Mount users. It allows 77mm filters it has fast AF and its sharp wide open.
Great solid lens
This is an amazing lens. It looks and feels very substantial but it is not super heavy. Image quality is excellent. It focuses extremely close to subject and you can almost shoot some macro images. I am using it with my Leica SL2-S

The Lumix S PRO 16-35mm f/4 from Panasonic is a versatile wide-angle lens with numerous applications. The lens is designed for full-frame L-mount mirrorless cameras and can also be used with other APS-C models to provide a 24-52.5mm equivalent focal length range. It has a constant f/4 maximum aperture for maintaining a consistent illumination throughout its zoom range. It has three aspherical elements and one ultra-high refractive index element for minimizing distortions and spherical aberrations and one extra-low dispersion element for reducing chromatic aberrations and color fringing. These lens elements help in producing clear, sharp, and color-accurate images, while its rounded nine-blade diaphragm contributes to creating pleasing bokeh. The 16-35mm Lumix S Pro lens has an autofocus system with an integrated double-magnet linear motor for fast and precise focusing and a focus clutch mechanism for seamless AF/MF switching. The lens has a durable and compact build. It is dust, splash, and freezeproof, letting it function under inclement weather conditions without compromising on operability and image quality.

It boasts high descriptive performance in both photo shooting and video recording. For the AF actuator, a double-magnet linear motor is integrated. It features high power despite its small size, achieving a maximum 480 fps high-speed sensor drive.
Adoption of a focus clutch mechanism enables instant AF/MF switching and accurate manual focusing.The LUMIX S PRO 16-35mm F4 also excels in video recording performance with a mechanism that suppresses focus breathing, which was a fatal problem in all interchangeable lenses designed for still image photography.
