Shopper : Back to David's question... Is it possible to hook up to a generic MP3 player with a std mini plug?LINETTE P : Yes, your standard mini plug for MP3 is on the top of the unit. I an enjoying it very much and find the speakers a good "fit" for the small room where we have the unit. It releases when you give it a slight touch and you can dock your iPod in there. Its a really great stereo!JEFFERY A : Hello David, I bought this as a Christmas present for my girlfriends son. She bought him in Nov. on his b day an ipod touch. I as this moment, do not know if this would work or not. I will inquire from him about the possibility of MP3 direct hook up, but if it is able to hook up, you should be able to play directly from the MP3. He plays directly from the Ipod touch.

Nice player/radio for the money

Like the title says, this is a nice player for the money. We have this player in the Living Room and it can be heard clearly throughout our small 1,000 square foot home. The sound is clear even when music is played at high volumes. It's also very helpful that it has such a small footprint; it will fit almost anywhere. The FM radio picks up plenty of stations with the included antenna and most of them are clear; of course this depends on where you set this up (see more details below). We haven't checked the AM radio. The CD Player works as expected, but we haven't tried any burned CD's yet. Also, to listen to mp3's from my phone I just plug a standard 3.5 mm cable into the phone and the player and it works great. The only other feature we've used is the sleep setting and it also works as expected. My mother was so impressed with the sound from this player that she asked for one for her birthday. I set it up for her and even though we are even further out in the country than her we pick up radio stations better at our house. This is because we live in a fairly open area and she lives in a hollow.

The Panasonic SC-HC25 Micro System w/ Integrated Universal Dock for iPod / iPhone also affords the enjoyment of a CD player and an FM/AM digital synthesizer tuner, which has 30 FM/15 AM station presets. The micro system has auto tuning and a programmable timer/dimmer as well. It puts out 10W of RMS power through a 2-channel speaker system. To enhance the sound quality, Panasonic has endowed the SC-HC25 with Digital Bass, 4 EQ presets, a Surround Sound feature and bass/treble control. The CD player uses a unique motorized power sliding door to load and eject discs and supports CD, CD-R, CD-RW, CD-DA or MP3 playback.

You'll have access to an Auto Power Off feature, as well as the benefit of a beautiful LCD display. When using your iPod/iPhone with the system, the universal dock accepts over 20 various models including all iPhones and several iPod touch, nano and classic generations. It can also play the regular iPod and iPod mini. No matter whether you're listening to an iPod, iPhone, mix CD, FM, or even AM radio, you'll always have the option to use the headphone jack for privacy or the Aux output for connecting the SC-HC25 Micro System to a home theater or larger speaker setup.
