I paid [$][...]for a 50 inch Plasma TV.  I already owned a 42 inch panasonic plasma and couldn't have been happier so when I saw this one I jumped on it.  I don't have HD on either tv but have to say the picture is excellent without it. i can't imagine what it would be like with it.  Would definitely recommend buying this TV.  Great value for the moneuy.

Great TV

Overall, a great product and am really happy with this purchase!  It's not a 1080p resolution tv set, but nevertheless, the image quality is still great and when compared to SD image quality, I don't know how I used to watch television on anything else other than HD!  I have my Powerbook G4 connected to one of the HDMI ports and hooked up to my home theater system and I am ecstatic about the playback quality!  Really beautiful!  I would definitely recommend this product!
