The Panasonic LRU70 Series TH-42LRU70 42" HD Widescreen LED TV features a built-in digital tuner with Pro:Idiom, making it compatible with most FTG (Free-to-Guest) premium HD content. It has a built-in ambient light sensor (C.A.T.S.), which automatically adjusts the television's screen brightness and contrast to suit the lighting of the room, optimizing picture performance and helping in keeping power consumption low.

The LED backlit design helps reduce power consumption and running cost. The display allows for simple installation and management with a built-in terminal adapter and centralized FTG channel management. The LodgeNet PPV terminal adaptor (b-LAN) is built into the TV to save space and installation is further simplified because there are no cables to connect other than the coax feed. With USB cloning, TV settings can be copied onto a USB and easily transferred to another unit for shortened installation time.

The LCD TV can be used with the FMA-PA101 Free-to-Guest management appliance (available separately). This appliance is a hotel system server that provides centralized and remotely accessible channel management of all SD, HD and Pro:Idiom-encrypted content, including the first-up channel. This eliminates the need for guest room visits for programming channel lineups during install or for any subsequent additions/changes made to the lineup at a later time.

The TV allows you to easily configure the channel map using Excel-format files. This remapped data can also be cloned, making it easier to configure multiple TVs. The swivel stand allows the display to be rotated 90deg. to the left or right to match the viewing angle of the guest. Stops at 30deg. and 60deg. can be easily inserted as needed to avoid contact with walls. The pedestal stand can also be secured into place with security screws (bit included) to reduce the risk of theft. The TV is also compatible with other PPV systems via an integrated MTI port. This TV is suitable for use in larger suites, lounges or in public areas, such as lobbies and restaurants.
