Considering the price, this is a good lens. The appeal is the compact size for walking around with a couple of lenses in your pocket. While it is not the fastest lens, for daylight photography it is a good buy. I use it with a Panasonic GM5.

Takes very good pictures in good light; sharp and colorful. Basically, with this lens, you're trading off low-light capability (f/4 base aperture) to get a lens that's very small, relatively light, and relatively inexpensive. For me, the trade-off is more than worth it. It's a great match for smaller cameras like the GM5; even for larger cameras, it's a great option if you don't shoot telephoto that often, but want something small/light to pack in the bag 'just in case'.

In the short period of time I've used this lens I'm happy with both the image quality and price. Left the full frame world for Micro 4/3 so I gave up a lot of good glass. Would rather have the 2.8 but for now this will suit the needs within the parameters of its capabilities.

I also have the 35-100/f2.8 lens which is much larger but with incredible high quality. In good light this little compact rivals photos taken with the more expensive and larger brother. With one of the compact micro four-thirds cameras, like the GX85, GM1, or GM5, this small high quality lens is awesome to carry in a pocket with the 12-32 attached to the camera, when one needs a longer reach while walking about.

Small and light weight. Cant believed how light it is consider its a zoom len. Compared with my Canon Zoom len, this is by far the best. Goes great with my small panasonic camera that I have recently purchased. Nice job panasonic!!!

Lens is incredibly small and easy to carry. Focus ring! Sharpness is excellent in the center wide open and very good across the board otherwise. For the price, useful telephoto range and size, it's a no brainer.

This is an excellent lens for 4/3 cameras. It is very compact, very light, smooth zooming, and very sharp. Not the fastest lens, but when married to a Lumix camera, like the GM5, just use a bit faster Iso setting and the lens is great. AND very very compact!!

Works well on any MFT body, but is especially nice on the GM series which it was designed for. It is a great companion for the 12-32 kit lens on the GM and GF series cameras. For this small of a lens at this price point the optics are surprisingly good, and it also is a pleasant lens to use.

Excellent optics and build quality. Amazingly small and a perfect companion to the 12-32 kit lens included with the GM1. Much smaller than expected and really showcases the portability of m43.
