Great quality head
This is a great quality tripod head so that you can use your own leveling base or ball or panoramic head. If you want a spare center column, I think you have to get it directly from Peak.

Peak Design’s Travel Tripod Universal Head Adapter allows you to utilize any third-party tripod head on their Travel Tripods. It offers a more standard and level platform for your tripod heads. Installing this universal head adapter is easy: remove the tripod’s portable ball head and place your tripod head as its replacement. Then use the included 4mm hex wrench to attach the tripod head to the adapter. Your tripod head threads onto the adapter’s ⅜”-16 mount. The Universal Head Adapter also has three set screws that you tighten into the bottom of your tripod head, which fixes the adapter into place. Plus, you have two mounting options for the adapter: you can install it on the tripod legs or its center column. Travel Tripod Universal Head Adapters are only compatible with Peak Design’s aluminum and carbon fiber Travel Tripods.
