I purchased the Peak Design Everyday Backpack Zip 15L (Black) back in 2022, and it has been my daily go-to ever since. As a tech professional, I pair it with the Peak Design Tech Pouch, and together they've streamlined my workflow and commute. One of my favorite features is the swiveling shoulder strap, while it's originally designed for quick camera access, I've found it incredibly handy for grabbing my water bottle on the go. The top handle is also exceptionally comfortable, making it easy to carry the bag even when fully loaded. With a smaller frame (155 cm), finding a well-proportioned backpack that's both functional and stylish has always been a challenge. The 15L size is perfect for me, it's compact yet spacious, and it doesn't make me look like I'm carrying a turtle shell, unlike many other bags I've tried. I'm quite particular when it comes to bags, and this one exceeded my expectations in every way: smart organization, minimalist design, and premium build quality. After four years of consistent use, I recently had to make a warranty claim, and Peak Design handled it exceptionally. Very responsive, efficient, and true to their promise of lifetime warranty (making me more want to buy more products from them). If there's one minor downside, it's that the internal grey fabric has slightly yellowed with age (wish they use other colour, maybe orange or black to avoid this but don't change the material as it feels amazing), but it hasn't affected performance or usability in any way. The zippers remain buttery smooth, which is a testament to the overall build quality. This backpack was a thoughtful investment and after four years, it continues to prove its value every single day.

Nice design, quality materials, comfortable fit, a lot of pockets inside and very good water resistance. I love it.

I had the grey Evrryday Backpack v1 for over 9 years. It had an awesome build quality and materials and was durable for travels all over the world. The lifetime warranty is serious as well. They repaired the zipper once and even replaced the whole bag recently. The pockets, zippers, and magnets allows a versatility unlike any other bag I've used.

In looking to upgrade my small, old, uncomfortable camera bag, I was hoping to find something that could hold more gear, while also ideally serving double-duty as a general backpack for times when I only needed a subset of my lenses. After doing research online, I found this and was immediately excited when I watched the overview video. The flexible inner dividers are great, I love the wraparound zippers, and the many different latch points for external straps just add to the versatility. Only things I'd change are: adding some sort of port/cord pass thru, including the hip belt rather than making it an add-on (for me it's a must-have), maybe slightly stretchier side pockets, and perhaps a slightly lighter weight. But these are trifling complaints, really. The truth is, I love this bag more than i think any other bag, suitcase, or satchel I've ever owned.

To date I've only bought two PD products. A Slide Lite and this Backpack. I am highly impressed with the quality and functionality of the products. Focusing in on the backpack specifically, it's the versatility of access, pockets combined with the svelte design and subtle brand accents that make it feel it's worth every penny. It's so rare these days that products have such solid user experience but are also high quality. Thankfully there is no trade off with PD products.

Absolutely well thought-out rucksack that more than fulfils the requirements of photographers. The high-quality workmanship makes it an absolute pleasure to use. Every detail is well thought out and simply well implemented. There are so many features that make the rucksack extremely versatile. I'm sure I'll enjoy it for a very long time.

I bought my backpack in November and it quite possibly is the best backpack I've ever owned. So convenient and accessible. I love the side access on both sides. I highly recommend this backpack. I got the gray one and I love the color

I stated with the 15L Sling, eventually getting the 30L Everyday Backpack. Both were great, but I wanted something that was just between in capacity and carry. A little too small for multi-day travel (because I have a camera and lenses along with clothes, etc.) but it works well for running around town when I want to carry camera, iPad, notebooks, some snacks, water bottle, maybe a light jacket.

The exceptional value for money is truly remarkable. I am delighted with my purchase and also acquired the matching sling bag. It is an excellent addition, and I will undoubtedly make another purchase in the future.

Alright, so I finally jumped on the Peak Design bandwagon and grabbed the Everyday Backpack Zip. Been thinking about it for a while, and since I needed a new bag anyway, I figured why not? I went with the 20L. First impressions? This thing is sharp. Way cleaner looking than my old backpack. Love the minimalist style. No crazy straps hanging everywhere, just a nice, clean look. The zipper is super convenient. Makes it so easy to grab stuff, even if it's buried at the bottom. Inside, those FlexFold dividers are pretty cool. I can configure them perfectly for my Sony a7iii and my three lenses. Everything fits snug and secure, no bouncing around. My 13-inch Macbook Air fits great in the laptop sleeve, too. Plenty of room for it, and I still have tons of space for accessories, batteries, memory cards, all that stuff. I was a little worried about the tripod carry, but it works perfectly. The side straps cinch down really nicely and hold my tripod super securely. No issues at all. Honestly, I was worried it might be too small, but it's actually perfect for what I need. It holds all my camera gear, my laptop, and everyday essentials with no problem. It's definitely more compact than my old backpack, which is exactly what I wanted. It's definitely a pricey bag, but the quality seems really good so far. Feels very well-made. I'm happy with it. If you're thinking about getting one and you have a similar setup to mine (Sony a7iii, a few lenses, 13" Macbook Air), I'd definitely recommend it. Just make sure to check out some reviews and maybe even try one on in person if you can, just to be sure.

Bought the PD ED Zip in 20l on a whim. Exceeds all expectations. Quality build. I'm not even a camera person and intended to use for short business trips. I can load my MacBook Air, 12.9 iPad Pro, accessories, a light jacket, a tshirt and pair of pants with zero issues. Love that the backpack keeps its shape!

I've used the same backpack since 2007 and it was really time for a new one. I narrowed it down to companies that use recycled/sustainable fabrics and are vegan. I usually love color but black is the only option to not have the leather accent. I'm still thrilled with this backpack. The organization and side access options are fantastic. And the magnets that hold the straps in place are genius. Please keep up the great work and consider more vegan color options!

I purchased a 6L sling this past year and used it while on travel and really like it a lot. However, I found it limiting and wanted a small bag to help me lug my mirrorless camera and 3 lens (8-16mm, 70-300mm, and 16-80mm) all day without fatigue around neck and shoulder. The sling doesn't start out heavy, but it gets heavy when you are lugging it all day and switching between lenses while walking through new cities. I chose this backpack because it is 20L...smaller than my 45L backpack and bigger than the 6L sling...I also liked the continuous zipper design. I received the bag. It looks and feels great. The option to open from the top looked good in the video, but in reality, the bag doesn't have a natural bend toward the top and I found it hard to access its contents without fully unzipping the bag. The only problem with trying to open the bag is the dividers have to be detached from the top of the bag. This is not ideal. The last and biggest problem I had is the bag simply did not sit well on my back. I have a broad back. I am a big guy. The bag is entirely too small for it to be ergonomically pleasing. The shoulder straps fully extended caused the bag to sit low on my back toward my butt. This made it impossible to use the chest strap.

I bought this about a year ago with photography in mind, but I have been surprised since then to see the versatility of the bag! You can use it for absolutely anything, with no worries at all knowing that it made to the high Peak Design quality.

Yeah so I got this for my brother for graduation and he was familiar with the brand and wanted this backpack for a while. So I got it and have been watching him. Frankly it's ok maybe a bit overpriced for what you get but definitely nice. Would recommend

Recently received this new Everyday Zip and I am finding it the perfect size to get back & forth to the office w/my 13" laptop and iPad. Easy access to the laptop pocket w/o having to open the entire bag. Top/side access and moveable shelves allows me to visit for my papers and accessories.

I love the pretty design of the bag, and it's very convenient for daily use. The zipper is good, but a more durable material could be better.

I bought this as a larger camera bag than my 5L sling, and I absolutely love it. Peak Design always creates their products to be extremely functional, and this bag was very well designed. It's the perfect size for my camera with a 70-200mm lens, a few other small lenses, and a tech pouch.

My first words to anyone when talking about this bag are always "It's got shelves!" It's everything a tech-type needs. Customisable, compartments, capacity... I also love the design. Almost 360° access - it's my favourite bag and travels with me everywhere.

I got this as an everyday bag to carry my laptop, a jacket, lunch, and other misc items. I actually thought this 15L model didn't come with a tablet sleeve, but there are two flat sleeves in the laptop compartment and i can fit my 14" M1 Macbook Pro along with my iPad mini 6 in there. A little tight but it does fit well. There's also a pocket for charger, cables, and other tech, and I put my sunglasses in there too. In the main compartment there's loads of room, and two zipper and two elastic pockets with magnets for misc items, and a small zipper pocket at the top. I wish this top zip pocket was a little bigger so I could put sunglasses here, but fits my Airpods and chapstick and other small items so no complaints.

This brilliantly thought out backpack has revolutionised my mobile office needs - it is a personal organiser that truly helps me take everything that I need from one office to another and one business to another. I no longer loose things in the bottom of a bag or leave things in the wrong office, or waste time trying to go through endless pockets because everything has a place, nothing gets wet, magnets and zips mean nothing falls out, no-one can dip a hand into it or steal anything out of it in a crowd or on public transport. I put it on its side on a chair next to me and it is like a personal filing cabinet and I strap it on with a loop round the back of the chair so it doesnt fall over with all the contents on the floor. I have only had it for a week but it is extremely robust and even when heavy and full it is very comfortable on my back. I love it and would happily take it on holiday hiking except that I would have to empty it to reload - and how healthy is it to take a workplace essential on holiday with you?

The 15 L is just right for the gear I am carrying (2 OM bodies, long tele, zooms, and accessories). It is small enough to be used as a personal bag on a flight, it has a slim profile, with rugged fabric, the midnight is discreet with a touch of elegance, it is quite protective and easy access. I particularly wanted the side access, as putting the bag down on the ground to open it is too time consuming and hazardous. The extra pockets for laptop and ipad are also useful and well-executed.

TSA guy says every backpack needs side opening

As per the title, a couple of times the TSA (airport security) is looking for something in my pack and they start at the top opening. I then intervene and open the entire side up using the zip and they can peer in at everything. They love it.
