The original problem the first version had was that they didn't consider 35mm bars common on mtb's. They fixed that, but it still seems like it wasn't very well thought out for mountain bikes, especially e-mtb's. There's a computer often on the right side of the stem and they typically have shorter stems than road bikes. I couldn't find any orientation of this mount that didn't interfere with the stem and fit my iPhone 16 Pro Max without it sticking way out to one side. I was excited to use the thumb screw to be able to flip it up and film, but it doesn't fit with the arm flipped and a bigger phone. It seems nicely made, just does not work whatsoever for me, which is disappointing because I'm a huge PD fan and have a lot of PD products that I think are super well done. This one unfortunately misses the mark. Now I'm out $8 to return ship a product because it doesn't work.

I cannot buy you do not have case for iPhone 13 pro max.
Also do not have a mount for GoPro under mount.
I do not see mount for bicycle. Are you to use motorcycle mount.

This thing is solid. I did need to add some electrical tape to my handle bars because the smallest shim was too big, and the next size was too small.

Great product

I bought this to replace my Quad Lock bike mount and I gotta say that I'm very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the design and the materials. It's super easy to set up the phone and remove and it attaches strongly. Love the mount!

Excellent accessory for road, gravel, mtn bikers

I just purchased this mount for my Stumpjumper and was amazed that they had mounting brackets that fit *every* bar diameter, with so many variant options. The instructions are clear and the construction quality feels premium. I can't wait to take it to the trails!

Excellent craftsmanship, well thought-out

The mount is great and works as advertised. I've used the go-pro mount to attach a light under the phone mount. This helps me keep track of my vitals and data and use my phone as a bike computer. The case is also great and can do wonders with it! Will definitely recommend!

Great product for your phone

I love how the phone connects to it with a magnet, adjustability is perfect, allowing to avoid using gopro and just make video with a phone. Unfortunately not very usable on non-flat bars ( common on mountains bike )

extremely great UX and versatile unit

Very well-build product, although I wish they made a version that extended further forward and to the side. It doesn't align with the middle of my Profile Design Airstryke II aerobars. I'll have to make some sort of accessory myself for it to work properly.

Make an extended version for aerobars!

Bike Mount V2

Peak design is the first bike mount to let me put my phone where it belongs. Previous phone mounts did not survive crashes, my peak design mounts and cases have lasted thousands of miles and races up and down the mountains. 

The first thing I installed on my gravel bike

This mount works as simply and perfectly as they claim. It's easy to install (just find the right bar shims from the included batch) and rock solidly holds my phone right where I want it. The build quality is top notch. Love it!

Amazing phone mount

I'm so pleased with my peak design handlebar phone mount.

Shortly after installing it on my bike, I called my cycling buddies and told them ? I might fall off my bike during a ride, but this phone is never falling out of this mount.

This mount and its companion case are simply amazing. 
The release mechanism work very well even with gloves on. 
It is robust enough to keep the phone attached on the roughest gravel. 
The under mount for lights works perfectly. 
The quick release to allow for filming is genius.

Simply the best phone mount for bikes.

The case and mount fit together well. I'm glad they provide different size handlebar closures, because my mountain bike is a little thinner. Once it's on the bike it feels solid and immovable, which is exactly what you want.

Haven't ridden with it yet, but seems good!

This bike mount is really convenient with the additional "screw type" as it allows you to adjust the phone mount on the go for better fitment or for be able to tilt your phone up and film while you're riding.

Perfect phone mount for bikes!

Absolutely love this mount! By far the best bicycle mount I've ever used. Its rock solid, crazy easy to mount AND MOVE! The included thumb screw makes swapping orientation and position on the fly super easy. Your phone clicks into place effortlessly and makes you think its not safe, but shocking how secure it actually is. 100% recommend.

ROCK SOLID

I was looking for a mount for my iphone that would be secure for maps, but was so excited by the ability to flip the phone for landscape mode so I could record my rides. I was amazed at how easy it was to change the orientation.

Excellent mount

I am very impressed with this mount for cycling. The best feature is how easy it is to remove the phone with one hand. The magnet is strong but it's the locking mechanism that keeps phone secure. If you already had an out-front mount for your cycling computer, like I do, you have to flip the Peak Design towards you and over the headset/stem. This works really well but my knees would just brush my iPhone16 Pro when out of the saddle. If you're a bigger rider this may not happen to you. I decided to return the mount and get their universal bar mount so I can place it up on the tops of the bar. This way my legs won't come near the phone.

Excellent Mount

It took no time to install, and it's been holding up really well on bumpy Boston roads. I like how easy convenient it is to clip in my phone in multiple orientations and how customizable the positioning of the mount is.

Works without any fuss

Outstanding product. I bought this after being frustrated with my old bike mount and its many issues. This mount is so well designed and well made that it made me a little angry that i waited so long to find it. Very secure and easy setup. Attaching and removing the phone is a breeze, the phone and mount are amazingly secure even on the bumpiest terrain and I finally have a full view of my entire screen. Very happy with this bike mount highly recommend.

Finally a secure mount that delivers

Application: Mountain Biking
I needed a mount so that I could view trail maps. I ride mostly cross country but get into some more advanced features along the trails. 1st ride: Moderate cross country - mount and my iPhone 15 Pro didn't budge. 2nd ride: I got into some medium downhill and decent features. Half way in, I ate it hard. I looked back in the dust and my bike's phone holder appeared that nothing even happened. My bones moved but not the mount. I'm still blown away by the ease of mounting, ease to clip/unclip phone, and rigidity. It was worth every penny.
PS - I am glad I spent the extra money on the out front mount VS the Universal Mount. I just can't imagine the Universal Mount holding as well in MTB conditions.

Unbelievable! Still stunned at how secure it is..

I bought this for myself a month ago and have really enjoyed it. From an engineering point of view, this really feels like peak design with the easy locking mechanism and magnets. 
I even decided to buy another for my brother as a present. Then two days later the Black Friday sale happened. I messaged the team and they refunded me the difference so that I also got the lower price. So in addition to a really great product, they have amazing customer service. All this was done in under 15 minutes.

Great for bike riding

Love this mount! I attach my phone and load an alltrails map, and that keeps my phone secure when mountain biking. Crazy solid and handles offroad really well. Would recommend! Changed my bike life.

Amazing phone mount!

I very much like the design and quality of this mount. It is well-made and the attachment/release system is extremely easy to use. Unfortunately, the case required did not support wireless charging for my phone so I had to return the system and utilize a different manufacturer. 

The only noticeable downside to this system was that the phone shifted a small amount when attached to the mount. There was never any concern with the phone coming off the mount unexpectedly.

Quality product with intuitive design.

Love this mount so much that I bought 2, one for each of the bikes that I have. Comes with all the necessary hardware to mount nice and snug. Works well for both road and mountain bikes. Works even over really rough terrain on mountain bikes. 

The only gripe I have is that I wold love if there was an option to buy one that mounts to the left and curves to the right so that I can fit it around other mounts that I have on the bike.

Great mount nice and sturdy

Bought this for my husband as a gift and he loves it! The unique case attachment locks on and off with ease, and does not shake at all even on bumpy rides. Hoping that the case styles expand to different materials and colors as I don't love the fabric back, otherwise I would consider getting it too!

Sturdy + Easy to Unlock

This mount is terrific - it is positioned really well and the attachment mechanism with my phone cover works perfectly - easy to attach and easy to remove.
