I’ve had this bag for about 8 months now and I’m still eager to put my laptop in it in the morning and swing it over my shoulder when I leave home for work. The quality in both material and handcraft is outstanding and the versatility is amazing. I use the bag daily and you can’t even see that it has been used. I love all details of the construction of the bag and the endless opportunities all the functions offer.

I get very sentimental about my bags. My last messenger, just on 15years old, was like an old friend. But the team at PD have designed something that is just sensational with the Everyday Messenger. If you take a camera to work every day, you will LOVE this bag. It is perfect for me: 15" MacBook Pro with hard case, iPad, 1 or 2 camera bodies with lenses, 2 external hard drives, batteries, keys, wallet, cables, small drink bottle, adaptors and still room for a thin jacket. I love my new friend.

I’ve had a few different messengers over the years, but this one has far exceeded any others. Have not had any issues whatsoever with the strap that some others have complained about. I have V2, so not sure if they’ve fixed it with the newer version. Overall, definitely the best messenger work bag I’ve ever owned. I am a customer for life.

This messenger bag is the best ever with regard to its compartment design. Here are some feedback. 1. Tan color looks most like orange brown. 2. Shoulder-strap holder gets its flat strap folded, jammed inside. 3. After only 1-2 days use, the backside fabric got pills. 4. This is relating to the 3 above. This bag does not have any function enable to hold with trolley bag carry handle. Better to have flat belt on the backside made of “friction free” fabric.

Great bag, though had I known v2 would come weeks after buying I'd have waited.

High quality, with amassing finishing. Very well designed space, fits almost everything without being bulky. Unfortunately I had to return it, cause I am quite short (1,56 m) and It was not very comfortable. PeakDesign has a distinguished return policy and I had no problems at all returning my bag.

I was looking for a bag that could handle a full size DSLR, two additional lenses and accessories. Bag accommodates these needs, is built well and looks nice.

Love this thing. It replaced my Timbuck2 bag which I'd had for a decade, so it was not easy to part with. But really love this product. My favorite aspects are the one-hand latch that makes opening and closing super fast. Also love the pockets, design and build quality. It's the best messenger bag I've ever owned.

Part of my work these days requires me to take my laptop along with my DSLR and a couple of prime lenses. I'd been looking at camera toting backpacks but they were all too big and made to cary more equipment than I needed. The Peak Shoulder bag was just the thing: well made, well thought out and engineered, and looks to be durable. Expensive? Maybe, but my old bag--bought in a different century when film still reigned and 15" laptops weren't yet made--lasted well and was bought for the same reason. To me it is a good investment in a good tool.

My son added this bag as an add on for the V3 capture and I have tried to live up to the "every day" intent. So far, I have learned to scale down what I bring to what I need. I change the layout daily with ease and feel this is essential for those who dabble in different types of photography. A pleasant surprise to find my 150-600 actually fit in the bag upright next to my camera body and the bag actually closed! I would take 1% off my rating for falling over but keeps my gear close as a result.

Bought this over Xmas after a long, exhaustive hunt. I wanted an easily usable messenger bag for two types of shooting - landscapes and street - so it needed to be able to handle two sets of hardware. The 13 can handle my Sony a7Rii with SmallHD Focus plus my 24-70 2.8 and 16-35 2.8. Alternatively, it easily handles my 70-200 2.8 with Sony a6500 and SmallHD Focus plus the 2x teleconverter and the 16-35 2.8. All plus spare batteries, filters and either tripod or monopod. Love it! No issues.

It's a terrific bag which handles all of my daily cary perfectly. First I hesitated since there's no dedicated pen pockets or paper compartment. In actuality all of my pens fitted really well and my paper files fit greatly as well. Lens dividers are actually great in compartmentalizing the main pocket, now I can stash my things on top of each other and they are in perfect order through my daily public transport commute.

I was a little hesitant at first but it really is a great bag! Its been through Vancouver rain showers and everything inside stayed dry! (wouldn't recommend though, I just lost my umbrella one day). Has a good amount of space for 2 lenses and the body of a camera, side-by-side. It does get a little heavy when you place a laptop inside, even with my Asus ultrabook so I try to use a backpack instead when carrying a laptop. Unless its just short trips!

The EM15 is my secondary bag for the days that I want to pack light and when I go out to walk around town looking for things to shoot. It will fit a full frame DSLR with a lease attached and a couple additional lenses with your everyday items like; keys, phone, wallet, notepad, and laptop. It is very comfortable considering how much gear I carry. The strap has got to be the best feature of this bag because of how easily I can adjust it to pop my camera out frm the top zip or the mag latch .

Great bag for packing all my main camera gear and 15" MacBook Pro. So versatile and just a sharp bag. Adjustable strap is great.

Good solid camera bag, but I believe it is a bit over-rated. If it is in your budget, go for it, but there are plenty of other bags available that would do just as well for less money.

First of all the build quality and materials are first rate. I like the system built around the bag but in my opinion the base is too small for larger cameras and it is difficult to use unless you keep all lenses unattached. I use a D810 with a battery grip and quick release L Bracket. You can forget keeping any large zoom on the camera in the bag with this type of setup. Since I like to keep a lens attached at all times this is a major issue for me. YMMV. There isn't enough storage space for all the items I need to carry and if you overload the front pocket the bag will not stand up on its own. It just flops forward. As a messenger bag and for use with smaller cameras without battery grips it might be perfect. Just don't expect to use it with big gear.
