The 35L duffel is a great size for weekend (or slightly longer) outings. It easily fits clothes, shoes, etc especially if paired with packing cubes. It also has well -out pockets for electronics and other miscellaneous items. I've yet to go on flights with this bag, but for car/train trips it's been great. Doesn't take up too much space, but provides plenty of capacity.

I bought this for my son for his weekend travels. He wanted a more hybrid bag and found this one. We had shopped here previously for cell phone accessories and thought why not give the bags a try. My son was impressed with the support and how easy it was to pack and organize his gear. He liked the sturdiness of the material and how it held up to being tossed around.

The design of this bag, the size, the versatility is amazing. I think its a great companion bag to the 45L for traveling. It can be a gym bag too, motorcycle bag etc.. Peak Design as the name suggests, is up there in terms of design. This is the nicest duffel I have seen! But I hope we can hit Peak Performance on this bag. 1) This applies to all variations of this bag. When I received this bag, it felt sticky to the touch. The PU had melted from long storage in warehouse. So it was no longer waterproof. Then since it was design to be waterproof and rugged at the bottom, Water would pool up inside the bag like a reservoir since it can't escape the thick nylon at the bottom. 2) A known issue that many others have pointed out, is that the handles and the magnets are weak.The other size models have their handles fixed. Why not the fix the main 35L version? Logistics-wise, it can be a nightmare. But offer users to buy replacement handle on this. Both win. Imagine seeing someone with a peak design bag with a third-party handle? It would reflect badly on the company, reputation, the aesthetics etc. I'm sure many others would be willing to pay for such a handle. If the 45l is the epitome of form and function, this bag needs improvement. Offer us an option to buy handle.

Bought this gem a couple of weeks ago to use it as my gym bag. Not only did it do a fantastic job for this purpose, but now I want to use it for everything. Added a packing bag for wet clothes and shoes, and it's absolutely perfect both for my use case and short travel.

I am very happy travelling only with the duffelbag and nver ever check a bag again. -then I had issues witrh the main zipper, which were resolved by peak design in the most generous way. I asm verx happy with all my PD items but even more wirth the PD team and the spirit of the company

I have the 35L bag in sage. I love this bag and have used it for travel, as a gym bag, and when cycling to play sport in all seasons. The 35L capacity is just right for a sports bag and the different pockets allow me to keep everything organised. When I had an issue with one of the attachment points for one of the straps, as usual Peak Design was on point with the warranty and got it sorted out promptly. My only feedback for this product: when it's used in the backpack configuration, the bottom of the bag (a matte finish dark green) is essentially invisible at night and makes it unsafe to use cycling on roads. I've fashioned my own clip-on reflectors using the bag's abundant strap connection points, however would love to see the bag address this directly.

I use this all the time when travelling for work in the UK. it is perfect and holds everything I need. I mistreat it and it just takes all the beating I give it. Thoroughly recommended

What an incredibly well thought travel bag this is. Firstly it is rough. I used it in camping, road tripping, airports, back of pickups for 22 days straight and it came home without a scratch. Secondly, it is really comfortable to carry. I sneaked it as a carry-on luggage (Lufthansa and Angolan Airline) and you can really survive big airport days with a lot of weight, which normally translates into suffering on other duffel. The primary goal of this product is absolutely delivered. A duffel design that carry like a backpack. Lastly the structure of it makes it unique. The fact that the bag doesn't deform makes it really easy to access things and use it as an on the move wardrobe, which for me it's normally one of the biggest drawbacks of standard duffels. Well done PD. Worth every penny.

Bought the duffel since I needed a bag to travel while carrying camera stuff as well as other heavy stuff, all fits in nicely with room to spare. Side pockets are surprisingly spacious and really neat for keeping things organised. I really have no complaints at all about this duffel, it's everything I want out of a travel bag.

Innovation, that's the key here, needed a duffle so I've got to go down the peak design road because they simply make the best, most durable products as well as standing behind there products. I was completely unaware of this product and accidentally ran across it, watched the informative video and had to have. Ended up getting two bags and a backpack with alternative ways to carry it in one. It's like going to get a sports car and coming out with a Ferrari. Great "Duffle".

I've now used this bag on two trips and I absolutely love it. It holds everything I need to carry, the handles make it easy to manoeuvre into luggage racks, and the straps are comfortable even when trudging up steep hills to remote hotels in a hot European summer. The expansion panels let me pack all the unexpected things I didn't know I needed (like my SO's yoga mat and washbag), and the long top zip gives quick access in a pinch (the need to do yoga can arise suddenly). Overall, very happy with this bag and would definitely recommend; it'll be coming with me as my default bag for any trip over 2 nights.

This piece can be used in so many ways that I never imagined until I started to use it. Used in conjuncted with some of the packing cubes it provides places to toiletries and a fresh change of clothes in case the rest of your luggage lags behind. Using one of the camera cubes it provides a lightweight field bag for a photo shoot. This bag continues to amaze me! Great job Peak!!!

I wanted a bag for travelling over a few days either for work or pleasure and this is perfect. It interlocks with travel cases etc and is a perfect size and very comfortable carry for those type of trips. I love all the extra features that PD build in and their attention to detail, use ability and design is excellent.

Great size, durable and light weight. The only downside is the handles that are supposed to be magnet clasp doesn't work. . .at all on my duffel.

As I gathered more and more lenses and camera bodies I needed a bigger bag. So I was told by my local camera company to look into peak design. I went all out ordered the bag and cubes. Everything fits nicely and I'm quite happy with that. I just wish that a bag was offered with everything built in like a normal back pack in the large size.

The other reviews are right! This is a beautiful bag and mostly well thought out/designed like all the other Peak Designs bags and products I have bought over the years, but the handles are a huge miss. Such a bummer and the difference between 3 and 5 stars based on how critical they are to carrying the bag. The magnets are weak and the handles are not comfortable to hold. Could be easily improved with at least a wrap around the handles. I hope they come up with something like that.

Ordered this initially as a gym bag. While it work, it is a little too big unless you carry around tonnes of equipment. Where this bag truly shines is as a weekender. Easy carry on to the plain. Easily accessible side pockets to keep passport, phone etc within easy reach. Perfect travel companion.

I needed to change from my old 90L travel backpack that was too big for my latest usage. Since I've received my Travel Duffelpack, I had the chance to travel with it. The straps features are great for the train! No strap gets mixed with the neighbouring bags. The handles on each side of the bag make it very easy to grab. The compression feature (+ the travel cubs in it) allowed me to fill the bag and keep it nice and packed. I'm waiting for

I just got this backpack a couple weeks ago and I upgraded from the 35 L. The main problem with this backpack is that when you expand it all the way open there are no clip holders in the right position inside to keep your pouches organized in the right place, the clip holders are about halfway up inside the bag so all of your items are not on the floor of the bag, which means they kind of dangle within the bag. And the MOST ANNOYING part of this back is that the main compartment does NOT open all the way easily to get into your cubes. If your like me, and have a large camera cube and pack it with lenses and other gear, good luck getting the items on outside edges very easily. I love Peak Design products, but this one could have been designed a little better?

This bag I had for 2 years before using the warranty on it (which was also tremendously easy and helpful). I use this bag as my daily commuting bag in NYC and hold essentially my life from change of clothes, laptop, groceries bags, anything and everything! Also really good weekend getaways and need an easy carry on for my travels. I dont think i'll ever want another duffle, if anything i might get the bigger one too lol
