Peak Design CL-3 Clutch Camera Hand-Strap

I just attached my Nikon D850 and It is a fantastic strap. I had another brand but it did not feel or secure the camera well. VERY PLEASED!!

On a Canon R6 Mk II the strap has to be adjusted to its loosest point in order to get a portion of my hand around the camera. In the pictures of this strap shown on the web site, the piece that loops through the top right of the camera's lug is much longer than what I have on my strap. While I can use it, it is far from ideal. It is nicely made and a quality product, just missing a key point.

I've owned and used on my primary cameras for several years and it's the best of this type I've ever used, having carried heavy cameras and lenses for hours long event work for over 30 years. As I get older and hands tire more quickly, it's even more beneficial.

I use this with a Canon 5D mark iii & iv. Both with a 70-200 and a 24-70 lens. I shoot sports and this strap is helpful for continuous shooting. However, it is not meant to take all the weight off the camera. This is way better than not having the strap. If you need to stand for long periods of time?I recommend I the slide camera strap. But this hand strap is worth it.

I've got 2 of these and use them regularly. If you attach it to the little Peak Design bracket that comes with it, it lays pretty good against your hand. If you want to use it with someone else's bracket or arca plate, it is a little wonky.

I really love this camera strap. It basically lives on my camera. I like that even when using the Capture Clip, it still works as a hand strap. I really like it, but I have two problems: (1) the top of the strap (where it goes through the eyelet) has gotten a little frayed. And (2) having the strap on my camera means that I can't have an anchor in that same eyelet, making it a bit more difficult to use other Peak Design products along with this strap.

I bought this because i often take vertical photos, and i always found myself wrapping the neck strap around my hand. Found out about peak design, their universal clips, and the clutch. this combined with action clip made my camera sessions a lot easier. love the comfortability it provides while being secure enough to where i don't worry for my cameras well being.

When I bought the clutch, I didn't even know that I needed this product. I was actually looking for a nice looking strap. It's a bit like the iPhone moment, and I'm definitely not giving it up.

Had been interested in trying the Clutch for a while but my only hesitation was that it's promoted as an alternative to using a shoulder strap for carry. I do love my Slide strap, especially as I almost always have a long lens mounted on a Canon R7. After reading a few reviews showing both in use I ordered one and couldn't be happier. It really does seem to add security, comfort and most importantly for me, stability while the camera is in hand for shooting. It doesn't add bulk when everything is packed away in my Everyday Backpack 15L Zip and the mounting plate plays nice with the Slide and Arca-type tripod clamp. At least for my purposes the Clutch/Slide combo works perfectly.

Currently have one for my Nikon D810, my Sony A7rIV, Sony A7rV, and NOW, I'm ordering one for my my new Hasselblad X2D (my pride and joy!!!) Yes, I tried it with one of my exsisting straps before purchasing another, AND ITS S PRETTY DARN GOOD FIT!

Never having owned a camera wrist strap (clutch) I thought I'd give one a go having just purchased a new camera. The strap is certainly strong, packaged well and has its own pouch to keep it in. I like the fact it can be worn as a strap as well although I probably won't wear it like that it's always good to have options. I wasn't aware of the companies green credentials so I'm glad I paid that little extra for the strap as not only is it keeping my camera safe it's helping keep an ethical company in business.

Have an old D7000 with battery pack. Don't like the regular neck strap so just carry the camera by the grip in my hand. Added the clutch and camera just feels secure. Can still operate the camera but no likelihood of dropping it. All good.

I use it on my Canon EOS R6 Mark II with a Neewer Grip, along with a Peak Design hand strap. I can shoot for hours and not worry about dropping the camera. Plus they're pretty comfortable.

This is hands down one of the most premium accessories I have seen in a long time. I have been struggling with another brand of hand strap for a couple of years. I finally had enough and found the reasonably priced Peak Design product. I already have and love the PD travel tripod, so I decided to try the Clutch. I love the Clutch! It fits my Nikon Z8 perfectly and does what I need it to do. It was super easy to install once I watched the short video, and I won't have to remove it to use the tripod. Another huge deal is that Clutch doesn't block the battery or memory card doors. Clutch is easy to use and feels very secure. I look forward to having a great experience hand-carrying my camera from now on.

Very comfortable. Easy to adjust. I've used it in DSLR and mirrorless. I don't use anything else and have never dropped my camera.
