These are good plates, especially if you want to put Peak anchors on it. Works with Arca-Swiss brackets from other brands in my experience.

When you hold it you can feel quality. It is just a plate but works perfectly in (and sometimes out) of the pd ecosystem.

I have been using this for awhile, and it's great to keep the camera from swinging when it's at my waist. The one improvement I would like to see is the ability for it to swivel. It tends to work loose after hiking for awhile, even though I tighten it before each trip.

I was surprised to learn that it was not compatible with my older capture clip. You have to go into the specs to find this out. My bad in assuming that all peak products would be comparable with one another.

bought a camera strap but the feature where the camera points down while slinging didn't work with my old plate. Works great now.

I own a Sony camera, which I also use as a webcam for my job. I was in search of a solution that would allow for a quick connect feature to eliminate the need for constant disconnecting and reconnecting of the bottom plate and camera strap each time I wanted to use my camera. Fortunately, I found this little plate that solved my problem.

Got a Peak Design Leash for my R8. I wanted a plate for the Leash that I could leave on with my Arca Swiss compatible tripod. This works perfectly and is pretty low profile.

The Peak Design people are insane. They can take a metal plate and craft it into the photographers perfect gadget. Get the Peak Design clip and make your life easier too. Worth the money! (Ouch!)

This tripod plate is very convenient. It has a nice flat profile and doesn't get in the way. I don't use the anchor point on the tripod plate (yet) as I don't have a need for it based on my shooting preference. I can't specifically rate the toughness or longevity of the plate but will update if anything significant happens to it but it seems durable enough. I currently use it on an Fuji XT4 & XT20. Just a heads up out there if you don't have an Arca Swiss ballhead. This plate fits perfectly on the MeFoto travel tripod head that I use and it sits there securely. If you don't have the money to spend on the Peak Design tripod or an uber expensive Arca Swiss ballhead then the MeFoto travel tripod is a good alternative.

At first when looking online I thought the plate may ?clamp? down on the cord or get in the way of the anchor cord. After mounting it on both my Mirrorless camera as well as a 5lb 200-600 zoom lens, I?m happy to say the cord does not get pinched even when mounted on a tripod. The plates are very small so I intend to leave them on my gear permanently.

I got this to future proof my camera set up. I'd been using the plate that came with the Slide Lite strap up until now. I only rarely use a tripod, but having to unscrew the plate so I can switch it seemed like unnecessary work. So I got this plate with plans to go all ARCA plate compatible with my accessories. Works great!

I have three Peak carbon tripods and I lost a mounting plate. Product was shipped quickly and, of course, works great. I was reminded of the attention Peak Design paid to design features of the tripod itself. What a wonderful piece of equipment!!!!!

Mounted on the tripod foot of my Sigma 150-600. Great for adding an anchor point securely. Only concern is that the size of the plate/contact area with the arca-swiss clamp on the tripod head is small. It doesn't fill the whole clamp. It's probably not a major issue, but it would be nice if they also sold longer versions of this plate to help better balance bigger lenses on tripods.

Certainly one of the better camera gear purchases I've made. It fits perfectly on my mirrorless camera body and does not interfere with battery or card exchanges. Besides tripod mount, I use it with the shoulder clip, high quality device. In addition, there customer service is awesome. I had questions and was able to talk to a live person who took care of all my concerns.

Peak Design Review I love having this on my camera as it doesn?t stick out much, being quite compact. It has points that are easy to attach an anchor to, if you want to connect a strap to it for certain styles of camera carry. And it works with my Sirui tripod. The only minor complaint I have is that the Sirui tripods have a little pin on them that pushes down and their own tripod plates have a little tapered ?ramp? on them that slides over the pin in one direction for easy mounting, then locks in so the plate doesn?t fall off. This plate doesn?t have such a tapered ramp so I had to manually add one with a file to the ?top? middle of one of the sides. It doesn?t otherwise harm the functionality or design, although it would certainly look better if these were manufactured this way to begin with. This little hack makes this product perfect, other than it looking a little scarred.

When paired with anchors links, the Peak Design tripod, and the capture the standard plate has become an essential part of my work flow. I keep one attached to the bottom of each of my cameras allowing me to very quickly switch between having my camera on a leash, on the tripod on on the capture clip. This allows me all the versatility I need while shooting. I even am able to use the plate to lock into other tripods so I never really have to take the plates off! They stay on the camera really well and never seem to move. I don't think I have had to adjust them since I put them on a couple years ago.
