Plastic. Not great.
So disappointed in the plastic used for this piece. Makes it difficult to slide in and out. Please make a metal version!

Just what we needed
Strapped this to our backpack strap and have been enjoying the footage of our new GoPro. Excellent purchase. Easy to assemble and use, very straightforward.

It works perfectly well with my 360 camera!

Worked great for GoPro footage in Egypt
We bought the POV kit to attach to my camera strap as we walked through temples and visited ancient tombs in Egypt. I wanted a hands-free way to get footage while still being able to take photos with my camera. The attachment was secure, but easy to adjust on the fly if I wanted another angle. I could also easily tilt the GoPro to see the screen and check settings as needed.

PD Does it again
Picked up a new GoPro Max. After looking at all the junk online in the way of accessories, I landed once again at Peak Design. This little kit has everything I need to mount the GoPro on my already purchased travel tripod or Capture Clip. Perfection! And everything comes in the perfect small gray pouch! Love it! High quality and makes my GoPro fit right into my existing quipment.

Great value-add accessory to Capture
Enhances the value of the Capture system by allowing me to attach my GoPro to my shoulder strap! I already have a bunch of PD stuff and multiple Capture Clips. Depending on what I'm doing, I may have my main camera on my strap or I may have the Go Pro while the camera rides on my hip. This just gives additional value to the Capture system without having to purchase a whole separate system.

Great addition to your action cam
As I mainly carry a backpack when taking action cam gear with me, this is a great alternative to chest straps. Used it for skiing, hiking mostly. It is all plastic, but of great quality, the attachments screws are as well really of high quality. Especially appreciated the little tool provided to fasten the screws!

I can use it all my other Peak Design accessories
I like that it has everything I need to use with my other Peak Design accessories such as the tripod and capture clip.

Mount screw hole filled with plastic
Just received mine and the GoPro mount has plastic inside the nut! Can't use the kit!

Typical Peak Design product - well made with features you actually need out in the field. Really nice touches with the carrying pouch which doubles up as a lens cleaner, a tool with built-in allen key, GoPro thumb screw tighteners, and a bottle opener! The two thumbscrews provided along are way better than the original GoPros ones! Even though my backpack has a thick strap I use the additional padded strap to give it some rigidity. Overall I am really glad I bought this and not a bunch of other mounts trying to jerry rig a backpack mount for motorcycling and cycling. Highly recommended.

Nice adapter
Very nice adapter. Works well with the capture clip and go pro. To install on a strap of a back pack.

The plastic bit with the red piece on it, broke apart and crumbled. Very cheap plastic. Had a camera mounted to it, well under the recommended weight. I ended up using a 3rd party go pro mount that works 100% better that was $20 cheaper.

Probably should be made of metal. Like the stable screw part. like to be able to adjust left to right and up and down.

Unique carrying option
I use this to attach a Fuji ex2 to my belt with the addition of the Capture and the Capture pad. I have this setup so it's holding the camera upside down, lens facing out on my left hip. It's handy for me to have this smaller camera belt-mounted while I then have a canon with a large super zoom on a sling strap on my right. This way I've two cameras, one strap, and no bag.

Great add on
This kit worked great with my Gopro + Karma Grip setup attached to my backpack during my trip to Asia. I had a similar backpack attachment from a different brand before but this POV kit had more flexibility in carrying my gear and usage.
The issues I had with this occured when nothing was mounted to the J-arm. The constant left and right swiveling ended up loosening the bolt enough to drop out. Luckily I noticed in time to retrieve it.
I do also wish the mounting plate was metal as opposed to plastic as I can already see major wear after my 2 week trip.
