Does what it's supposed to

I went on a bit of a Peak Designs frenzy. I try not to be the obnoxious photographer with 16 cameras and lenses hanging off of me, Being able to comfortably rest my second body on my hip is super convenient. Being able to orient the clamp vertically makes the PD system much easier to use. Holds my d750 with a prime or the kit 24-120 f4 just fine, I haven't tried it with the 70-200.

Well built, distributes camera weight

Built to last. Used with a camera mount and hang from my belt. Comfortable and stable, well worth the price.

The Peak Design PROpad is an accessory for the Capture camera clip that is compatible with all versions of Capture. It adds additional comfort and stability when using heavy camera and lens combinations. It attaches onto your belt or backpack strap either by threading the belt or strap through the inner loop or by clamping the clip and PROpad directly to the belt or strap.

Peak Design PROpad for All Versions of Capture Features

  • Includes two long clamping bolts for Capture v2 and CapturePRO to make it easier to mount the PROpad onto thicker belts or straps
