Peak Design SL-2 Slide Padded Premium Professional Camera Sling/Shoulder/Neck Strap

Grabbed this to use with my Lumix G95 when paired with the battery grip *and* a zoom lens. Insofar it's too much strap for such a small set-up, but at least the grippy part makes sure that the camera doesn't swing around when I have it over the shoulder like a sling, which is great! I love being able to put it to the side like it's a sling, I'm kinda annoyed that the strap gets in the way of the viewfinder, but I've yet to try the screw mount point so that should alleviate that particular issue. Anyways, the color looks great, and if you're using MFT, I'd suggest this over the Cuff if you're using a larger camera.

Such a cut above the rest. I've been carrying cameras around my neck for over thirty years and this is by far the most comfortable and easy to adjust carry strap I've ever used. The material is verrrrry soft and feels like it's derrived from the same material used to make premium seatbelts, just a little thicker and more comfortable. I'll be using this carry strap for a long time to come.

As the title says. The Slide is a wonderfully comfortable strap and it looks good too! The only complaint I have is that the padding is ironically too thick, making it difficult to store. I wish there is an unpadded version that has the same width so it is more storable.

After 3 years of use carrying cameras and big lenses from Antarctica shore to remote tropical Islands what I can say is : 1. the fabric connection between the sling and the anchor point is tearing apart and will likely soon break, hopefully my camera won't fall with it... 2. The metal spring-like part of the anchoring system is rusted, since the black paint felt due to friction, stainless steel would have been a better choice of material for this part. Just be aware it's a very comfortable and smart sling system but definitely not rugged enough if you are a professional wildlife/outdoor filmmaker, as intensive use will quickly damage it. I'll soon have to replace it but I'll likely choose a military-grade sling system this time.

This is a recent purchase for a planned trip in a couple months. Peak even sent video links on how to use the Slide properly, helping you get familiar with it. The overall design versus comfort was surprisingly better than I anticipated. Looking forward to putting the Slide into use. Customer service was also consulted prior to purchase and was very helpful.

I've used a pair of Slide straps for several years now with complete satisfaction. The material is comfortable and strong, the quick-detach mechanism is easy and secure, and the look is classy and professional without being attention-grabbing (I love quality leather goods, but since I'm not a full-time wedding/event photographer, those double leather rigs would be over the top for me). PD's warranty service is great as well.

I was advised to get a better strap on a day with a wildlife photographer and what a difference it makes. The slide is effortless to bring up to a shooting position and so easy to change fitting points when I am using a large zoom lens. Highly recommend.

I boughtvthe peak design slide as I like the idea of easily removing the strap from the anchors when I'm on the tripod or at home and don't need the strap fitted , sometimes the original strap gets in the way. I love the peak design strap , it's fabulously user friendly , easy to adjust , easy to attach and detach from the camera... such a lovely bit of kit .

a very good product, this camera strap is much more comfortable than the original camera. if Anchor Mount It would be perfect if converted into a quick release, Personally, I prefer cross-body but cross-body This will take up screw hole cannot use Tripod .

Yes this camera strap is expensive but with the Peak Design quick release anchor link you get two in one. Personal the Slide is a good size for my full frame camera but feels a little on the large size for my film camera.

After reading and seeing so many positive reviews for the Peak Slide, I bought one. Honestly, I was disappointed. It is incredibly well made, but I don't see the point in it. It's bulky and inflexible and hard to store. I like to wrap the strap around the camera/lens and stick it in a bag - you can't do this with the Peak Slide. The padding means it won't scrunch or roll up nicely, and the metal bits scratch the camera if you store it with it. It's also no wider than the strap that came with my camera, so no more comfortable on a long hike, for example. The quick-release bits are great (although I much prefer the SmallRig ones), but they can be bought separately and used with any old strap - which is what I recommend. Overall, it's over-engineered and largely unnecessary, but it may suit your needs perfectly. Just not mine!

I had been suffering with my original strap and then bought a generic cross body strap that made my camera heavier and more cumbersome. I have been in the market for the past several months for what I thought was impossible, a simple and elegant strap that looks and feels good. The Slide strap not only met but blew my expectations out of the water, and I can't wait for my next adventure to really put it to the test! The way it attaches to the camera body (and the options they give you) are dead simple but are insanely secure, no added weight to the camera body and the quick release to change your carry config is a godsend. Can't recommend this enough, you won't be disappointed!

Over the last thirty years I used lots of camera straps. What makes Peak Design strap unique and most useful is its anchor: it makes it easier to swap the strap between several bodies. I usually carry two and sometimes three camera bodies, all have L-brackets with Peak Design anchors attached. I can quickly attach the strap to the body and continue taking pictures.

I purchased this strap for my Mamiya 7 camera. I've owned the camera for more than 20 years, so I've been through numerous straps before buying my first Peak Design strap. I can confidently say this will be the last strap I have to purchase for that camera. My camera is not small or lightweight, but the Slide strap supports the camera well. I love that I can easily carry it in crossbody-style and protect my spine. When I use the strap in conjunction with the Peak Design Capture Clip and Pro Pad, it feels like I'm not carrying anything. I recently purchased an Ash coloured Slide. The quality of this product is excellent. I have used it a number of times and the quick attach/detach clips make it very easy to use. As the name says, it allows your camera to slide easily from your hip to your face. Overall I am extremely happy with my latest purchase from peak Design.

I like to use my slide for my camera, but also as the belt that holds my camera bag as well, with the clip on hook it is so easy to switch from one to the other. I also like how the slide quickly adjust to different length for different scenarios. Great product !

I use it in sling mode and carried my R6 with 24-105 lens all day - uphill and down dale. and the rig is up by my eye ready to shoot in a second. When the weather gets rough I simply unclip from the camera and clip to camera bag and use it instead if the thin standard bag strap.
