I absolutely adored mine when I got it; however, how quickly it fell apart was unacceptable for $70-$80 rubber stoppers. The sharp metal rubbed off immediately, resulting in sharp metal feet. Additionally, the magnet that holds the adjustment key fell out. I press it back in, and it stays well enough, but the adjustment key also nearly immediately stripped. I've managed to keep it together and use it whenever I can, but I wish that the quality was higher for the price or that the price was lower for this quality. But honestly, $20 cheaper, and I'd give this thing a five star as is because of the problems I described. I've managed to use the stand for two years, just not to the standard I hoped it would be out for the price.

My hunt for THE phone stand is finally over. This is hands down the best system - I'm never looking elsewhere again. My favorite feature is the key that tightens the ball head to extend its longevity. Every time I show it to family and friends, their jaws drop - and I love being Peak Design's unofficial, no-commission salesperson.

I bought this a few weeks ago and have been amazed by how convenient it is to take everywhere and how useful it is to record content easily, watch a movie, video call someone. I have used it so much more than I thought I would. It is easily adjustable with the tool that comes with it and hides in one of the legs. The only reason that I didn't give it 5 stars is that the ballhead becomes too loose sometimes and needs frequent tightening, and because I feel the magnet attachment could be stronger. I had it on in the car and after getting in a pothole, the phone detached from the mobile tripod.

I've purchased so many phone clips & mounts, but most are either not well made or they are too big a cumbersome that I never take them anywhere. This little tripod is impressive. The MagSafe mount is firm on the Peak Design Case and the quality construction is worth the price. The Carryology print design is worth the extra ten bucks just to be cool. I will definitely be taking this with me and using it. One thing to note is that it is solid and therefore add some weight to your phone. The good thing is that it clings to the MagSafe wallet and the pair fits nicely in my front pocket while not on my phone.

This tripod has made having a phone conversation fun again. Prop up your phone and see the screen. An added plus while charging too. The cable extends freely and isn't cramped or bent.

I bought the tripod to complement the minimalist techno look of my desk and am very happy with the addition. But to my surprise, the tripod has revealed itself to be super functional and lots of fun to carry around away from my office: Watching videos without having to prop up the phone, taking video calls away from my office, or positioning the phone to take videos on the tennis court, all made incredibly easy with the tripod. My phone has become a bit heavier since I attached the tripod, but that hasn't been a hinderance to my mobility. If you are looking for a fun and functional phone tripod, I recommend you give this one a try!

I've had this tripod for a bit now and have found it more useful than I expected. Not only is it a great tripod for photos and videos, I've found it useful for working at my desk and propping up my phone. It's slim and super easy to stash in a sling and take with me wherever I go.

The worst design ever. I bought it to use as a travel tripod when travel. My initial impressions was good. I like the metal design and quality. However, when using it you quickly see the flaws. First, the magnet is weak and only connects to half of the magnet in the peak design case, so connection is not secure. Do to the shape it is easy to get into the pocket, but snags when taking it out of your pocket. That paired with the weak magnet made me lose it more than once. All in all for $80+ spent on this I was trying to just get my moneys worth from it. However the big deal breaker is the provided key to tighten the tension on the tripod legs. These legs quickly became lose and the tripod would fall under its own weight. The key to tighten did not fit so I could not tighten. So I was left stuck with something I cannot use. Again avoid purchasing this product and opt for a cheaper option any where else. Peak design usually has high quality well designed gear. I dont know what happened to this..

Long time fan of Peak Design products, and as expected, this is a very well engineered (and compact) tripod. Unfortunately, it doesn't do its job particularly well. The attachment to my iPhone 14 is good, but not great. The bigger problem is that it's very very difficult to position this tripod such that the front camera can angle upwards - which is one of the main positions you'd want it to be in. There just isn't enough room under the ball head (and this is without a phone case). If you angle it back far enough the magnetic attachment will come loose but the bottom of the phone will be held in place by the angle of the bottom of the stand - which works, but isn't particularly stable. I feel like some slightly different design choices would have made this an absolutely killer tripod but as it is, I'd save the money and get something much cheaper.

Immediately after opening the box, I knew, this is great. I use it everyday. It's a great stand, mini tripod and at night, it's a click stand. It's uses are up to your own imagination, It's light, compact, sturdy and stable. So what more do you want? No really, what more?

The hinges on the Mobile Tripod are secure and firm and supports the case whether the iPhone is in portrait of landscape mode. I also use the VND filter and with both accessories attached, there's enough space between them - the rear is not too crowded so I leave my filter and tripod on all the time. As a bonus, the thickness of the tripod is the same as the filter so when I put the case down (screen facing up) they're on the level and the iPhone is flat on the table, without wobble.

Have not had it long so hoping it holds up with a lot of use, but it really feels like a premium build and quality build. It works great with the case I bought from peak for my phone. The magnate is not as strong as I thought it should be but so far has kept the phone in place as needed. Very handy to have with my phone.

I just got this and already need to write a review as I've been playing with it all evening. First, it is beautiful and works great as a tripod and stabilizer. But, things like the way the little tool pops up when you want to use it and the smooth way the legs make me feel like a secret agent. Lock that guy back up and let's see what else he can come up with!

It is slim and nearly invisible. You don't have to settle for a selfie. A photo opportunity can present itself anywhere and the tripod is here with me. I have used it to take starry night sky photos in an impromptu. Sometimes you find yourself at a viewpoint when adventuring with friends.

All in all works great. Sturdier and more stable than expected. However, one of the rubber feet on my unit is smaller than the rest. It's a minor detail and does not impact functionality, but given the cost of this item it should have been caught in QA.

Cool little gadget. Feels sturdy and well made and snaps quite tightly to a Peak Design case (less so on just a standard MagSafe iPhone). Very useful not just for photography but also for FaceTime calls, I found. ?100, though, is quite a steep price tag hence demoting one star.
