I own both the Slim Wallet and Slim Wallet with Stand. I got the former after enjoying the version with the stand because I didn't use the stand as much as I thought I would, and it added bulk and weight. To my surprise, the Slim Wallet's magnet isn't as strong as the one with the stand. It's usable and not dissimilar to Apple's wallet strength, so while not a deal breaker, it's definitely not nearly as strong as the amazingly strong magnet on the stand version (which is above average), so keep that in mind.

Wallet attaches strongly to the back of the case. The cards pull fine using the flap, but sliding cards back into the case according to directions is almost impossible and causes the case to detach from the phone case. The wallet must be removes and at 250 pounds and being strong from being a farrier, can barely get the cards to retract into the wallet.

This slim wallet is excellent built quality and magnet is super when it gets attached to everyday mobile case - it doesnt fall off at all - looks solid when attached magnetically. Peak Design has given great attention to its detail and every inch of the product is well made. its flap magnet is also very good quality.

I love the ability to stand my phone up with the kickstand but the wallet has fallen off my phone twice when I dropped it. It took just a light bouce for it to pop off. I didn't notice it one time and luckily was able to retrieve it. I worry that it will come off and I won't notice it. I also have to remove it every time I attach phone to the car mount so I have to make sure I have it with me when I leave the car and don't lose it down the seats. This is the price to pay for having a chargeabe car mount so I don't blame the design. The wallet holds 6 cards easily and the flap keeps them intact.

Love this wallet. The magnet attaches well to the Everyday Case (iPhone 6 Pro). Has never detached after many times going in and out of my front jeans pocket. And, I love that I have room for my driver's license, health insurance card, auto insurance card, 4 credit cards, and a few paper bills. They are easy to get at -- the pull-tab works smoothly, even with all those cards. Looks good, too, attached to the matching case.I do wish I could get just one more card in (I actually can, but extracting requires more effort). I realize I'm more of a Boy Scout ("Be Prepared") than most users. So, this wallet is probably perfect for most.

Bought this for a pixel 7 with the Peak Design case. I initially slept on this one because the price is quite steep but now I kind of wish I'd bought it sooner. The stand can be ajusted at any angle and is therefore much more versatile than other stand case/wallet on the market. Also I didn't think it would replace my wallet but it did. I usually carry 3-4 cards + some bills. When I'm in a more crowded area, I can just detach it and carry it separately. It is not perfect though, the closure sometimes folds inside instead of outside, and the wallet can slide off your phone when you push the cards back in if you don't support the other end with your thumb. But overall I'm very happy with my purchase and will definitely keep an eye on other Peak Design products.

I like the fact that some people can fit 8-9 cards into this wallet so that's why I got it, since most others don't have this capacity. Knowing that I don't need many cards when I head out, I thought I could fit some bills (folded into thirds) in there instead...and was pleasantly surprised at just how many bills I could comfortably fit in there (easily 8-10 Canadian bills, which are made of thin plastic, plus 2 cards). The magnetic flap is a great addition because you may sometimes not have the perfect number of cards/bills in there to keep everything snug, so it prevents anything from falling out like most of the other wallets out there (except of course the ones that are enclosed plastic cases but those are even bulkier). The stand does make it thicker so you'll need to decide if it's useful enough to deal with the thicker wallet...otherwise if it's not something you need too often, the one without the stand would be a fair bit sleeker and I assume substantially lighter because the stand is made of 2 solid, flat pieces of steel and a hinge. I do hope the fabric is durable for years of use though, but I contacted PD before making the purchase and they said that if it wears out, that's covered under their lifetime warranty policy so I felt confident in giving this a go. They did say that their newer nylon material is going to be more abrasion resistant though.

Very nice slim wallet, easily handles 4 cards, ID and a folded bill with magnetic closure to help keep them secure. It does pair well with the Peak Design iPhone case, however I do wish the magnetic attachment was a bit better. I have had prior wallet/case combinations which were more secure feeling, and this wallet does not use the full MagSafe technology to keep it from being able to rotate. Friction of the material between the wallet and phone case help, but it still rotates easier than I would like which makes it more prone to getting dislodged if a corner stick out over the phones edge.

I bought this a month ago and am very pleased. It has a powerful magnet so it does not disconnect accidentally, it has a small profile but big capacity to hold necessary cards and cash. It's a perfect stand whether vertical or horizontal. Could not ask for more or better

I've tried three other wallets previously but they just haven't been right. To thick, bad magnets, bad design. I had almost given up on using them. After deciding to purchase their everyday loop case I though I my as well try their slim wallet. I'm glad I did. The strongest magnets of any of the wallets I've tried. No unnecessary bulkiness, and a great design with their pull tab for access to your cards. I now feel safe with putting my essentials in the magsafe wallet and leaving my old school wallet at home.

Bought this originally as a Kickstarter product and returned once I updated my phone. The new color ways are great and the grip feels better than the first iteration. Magnets are strong and securely hold my important cards through many physical activities.

I've had my kickstand wallet with peak design phone case for my iPhone 14 Plus green color. I love it holds 6 cards average and no issues with magnetic strip or touch to pay. The kickstand feature I use horizontally when going to bed and vertical at work. Just moved it to my new iPhone 16 with peak design case.

I purchased this to use with my everyday phone case. Bought the one with the stand which is very practical and a great idea. But I could only fit 3 cards in and if I tried to add more, the force of pushing them in pushed the wallet magnet off the case. So I returned it. Did not fit enough of my cards (embossed cards take up more room).

Bottom line: he's super stupid tough on gear and is constantly in motion and uses it every day. A month in and no signs of wear, works great and no lost wallet. I purchased the stand wallet to go with my new Everyday Case for my new iPhone 16 Pro Max. I love the case that I received but the wallet does not stay on very well with just the magnet from the case and wallet. Every time I take the phone out of my pocket, the wallet detaches itself if I'm not very careful and slow or pinch it. What I would LOVE LOVE LOVE is if there were a wallet that would use your locking mechanism similar to some of your mounts that way the wallet would only be removable by either pressing a button or by doing a 1/4 turn or something similar. I'm not an engineer so I'm sure you would be able to come up with an amazingly slim and solid design that would be very secure. The primary reason I bought this system was to be able to include a wallet. I love the design since it can include more than your typical 2 or 3 cards. At the end of the day, I just hoped it would be more secure on the back of the phone (especially since you have a unique locking system) that can help differentiate you from the other solutions out there.

I really liked this for the 2 months that it worked. It was very useful and functional. However, the metal piece inside came loose and the wallet would no longer close. CS didn't help either since they wanted a serial number for a wallet. Not sure how many wallets have serial numbers but this one doesn't. I didn't keep the box for 3 months so I guess that's my bad.....

Material used for the case in Sun color is a dirt magnet. In two months the extremely expensive wallet ($60 for the 4-card no-cash wallet) became an eyesore. The fabric is stained like I fished it out of a dumpster, and you can clearly see now where it is touching the magnetic ring on the case - it shows as a dark circle on the wallet. As it is not enough that PD decided to go with some very questionable colors (the "sun" is actually way closer to "poop" from the start), they have also skimped on a quality fabric. But the main problem is that PD decided to not put a SlimLink on the wallet. Your cards and ID worth way more than anything else you are going to attach to the phone, and yet the magnet is the only thing that connects the wallet to your phone. It is regular occurrence to see my wallet flying away when I get the phone from my jeans pocket. I guess PD wants you to become accustomed to replacing your credit cards and buying a new $60 wallet on a regular basis.

I have had the Slim Wallet for 2 years enjoyed the experience with it, it is slim slides in your pocket nicely with it still attached. The issue I have with the wallet is that while they advertise lifetime warrantee, after it wore out as per the picture, warrantee claim was not granted because I did not have the serial number. The serial number with the sling while it comes in qcard that you need to keep I guess for the life of the wallet. I purchased the wallet directly from the PD site and have the receipt but no joy with the warranty claim.

I write this review after just losing 2 credit cards and a drivers license that were stored in the wallet. Needless to say, I will no longer be using this product. I love the peak design products. I purchased the camera strap and iPhone case to be able to go without a purse and just utilize my phone over my shoulder. When I saw the wallet - I was so excited that I could go without a purse much more often. The only problem - and it's a big one - is that when the iPhone is on your strap, the wallet is backwards making gravity work against the wallet. It would be a better design if the wallet faced upwards - so while wearing the wallet and strap - the magnet holding the contents of the wallet does not open unexpectedly.

The wallet/stand suits my needs but could use an enhancement. Because it does add bulk to my phone case, holding it feels more cumbersome. If it had a loop that I could slide my finger into, thereby securing my hold onto the phone with the wallet, it would be better. The wallet flap gets loose when I take the phone out of my back pocket so I always have to make sure to check and close it.
