Works in MS Teams!

Works well in MS Teams, something I was leery would work. But once I plugged it Teams recognized it as a web cam which is exactly what i needed. For those who are curious about my signal flow: iPad Air (camera) using Filmic Pro app to send a clean HDMI feed. Into an Apple USB-C to HDMI adapter. HDMI cable to Blackmagic HDMI to SDI converter. SDI cable run to Blackmagic SDI to HDMI. HDMI cable to Pengo Video Grabber. Into Mac Mini USB-C port. Running Big Sur.

Not compatible with HDMI splitters

Isn't compatible with HDMI splitters which was my whole purpose for it

Great product

This unit worked very well for my needs. Good video quality, easy to use, no drivers needed. Used with a GH5 Macbook pro with i7 quad core 2012, Sennheiser G3, all that Streaming on Zoom. The colors were a bit different from my lcd in zoom, but using a different color profile on the camera fixed it User errors usually because Users need to pay attention to the output format of their camera, (auto scaling, interlaced, frame rate, etc..)

Problems using with Canon HF G50 and OBS

Unfortunately this didn’t work well for me with OBS software. While OBS recognized it, it was not compatible with my Canon HF G50 video camera. When I used a Magewell in the same port, I had no issues at all. I ended up returning it.
