Hello, The idea behind this rain cover is great, a poncho for your bag that can be stored in your bag without getting in the way. I've had a rain cover for my Travelbag 45l since the Kickstarter campaign and use it more to protect against dirt and dust than to protect against rain. Unfortunately, every one I've had so far has broken. 1. The inner white waterproof layer has peeled off/crumbled away (unfortunately, the best version I had). 2. The welded seam has dried out, the stitching has broken, and a hole has formed. 3. The welded seams have dried out. I have already complained about it, but since the product is not available, unfortunately, I cannot be sent a new one. And it doesn't look like any will be delivered anytime soon, as of January 3, 2026. I hope they get the production issues under control. Otherwise, I don't really have anything to complain about except for the poor quality, which is unusual for Peak Design in my experience.

Purchased on 30 April 2025 and used only twice before I noticed the white internal coating is peeling off, mainly along and fold lines.

Simply the rainfly for my PD bags. Fits snug with the 45L travel. If you tighten it all the way it will fit the 20L everyday zip as well. Price point is questionable.

While intended as a rain shield, I use the Rain Fly as a cover for my PD bags when I'm storing them underneath the airplane seat and in other places where I'd prefer my bag to remain clean. The Rain Fly conveniently rolls up and can be tucked into a hidden pocket on the bottom of my PD bags (Everyday and Travel Backpack).

A great companion for the 45L Travel bag. Fits well.

You can just shove the rainfly in the bottom compartment of the bag and pull it out easily/quickly when it rains. It is also very easy to put it back into the pouch.

I love the rainfly not for the rain, but just simply for the fact that I DONT WANT MY BAG DIRTY LOL. I will keep it on so I can safely drop my back on the floor in public areas, knowing my bag is protected by the elements and dirt from the ground.

Kept my bag dry, and it fits well on my travel bag 45l, what's not to like?

Well constructed rain shell that is a must for travel (even to deter thieves or keep pack clean). Easy to deploy/put away. Highly recommend.

I bought this for the never ending Sydney rains of 2022. I commute on my bike and the bus. The rain fly has been perfect for my journey to work each week. Highly recommended :)

A no-brainer addition to the Travel Backpack 45L, attaches easily and stays out of the way until you need it.

I was in Edinburgh, Scotland and it was a downpour. I put this over my bag and I no longer had any worries that my electronics in my backpack would be damaged. This is solid

Doesn't fit well on the bag when it's expanded to 45l.

Being a senior citizen, the thought of carrying the 45L Travel Backpack all day long makes my shoulders hurt. I improvised and attached the removeable roller frame from my roller backpack to the front of the 45L. The Rain Fly covers up the unsightly roller frame when using the 45L as a backpack : It also adds as a deterrance from thiefs by covering up all of the pockets...

What can you say about a rain fly? It does what you need it to. Unfolds easily, wraps around the bag easily, folds back up easily.

Got caught in a torrential downpour yesterday, just so happened to have this handy little rain fly that I keep tucked under the magnetic flap on the bottom of the travel bag. Saved all of my electronics from getting soaked.
