I'm an old fogey so forgive my bias towards thinking everything today costs too much. The quality of these anchors as well as the mounts is second to none. I have always been the type to go the cheapest route and just deal with how something inexpensive performs. It wasn't until I had some extra funds that I thought I would try these. And they really and truly do make photography life so much easier. The ability to go from neck strap to handstrap is super convenient. My one and only reason for the four stars and not five is the cost.

I use these anchor straps all the time along with your straps clips bags and binocular mounts. This stuff works great with my cameras my car keys my backpack. It's just a great way to integrate the entire collection of Peak Design's equipment that I own. This stuff works all the time.

I've had these on my various cameras for almost a decade now. I've never had one fail. I've traveled with them and keep them on my daily carry camera without a single problem, and I live in a large city where I use public transportation. Couldn't recommend them more.

The anchors are good for most fixings, but for bigger lenses and some binoculars, the anchors are not long enough to properly fit, or to fit at all. Double-length anchors should be available as an option.

I find them to be good for the job if a little short, using them with a wrist strap on my R3 in portrait mode and it makes the strap tight. Maybe a 1/4 inch longer.

Good product but terrible shipping and service. Ordered these anchor links and had them designated first as "pre-shipment waiting for USPS" and then was told they had been shipped. Never received and had to cancel. Disappointing.

Not all camera manufacturers have strap anchor points that you can get a naked PD anchor through. The two oval split rings and plastic grommet/sheath thingy, along with the split-ring spreader tool create a PD anchor point. Are the split rings available for all my other Fuji and Olympus cameras? (can't see them) Or do I have to get a set of 4 [with 2 rings] for each camera? (costly) Or is it one anchor point per camera? (yes, hand strap) Decisions.

Had one of these snap straight through without warning at the weekend after only about 6-7 wks of occasional use - no previous indication it was about to go, suddenly went and my camera hit the ground. Luckily no major damage other than a battery contact seems to have come loose so in-camera charging is inconsistent. Haven't had issues with other anchors so assume this is a one-off bad example that got through QC somehow. However have lost confidence in the product as a result.

Anchors that come with strap are ok when using on camera but need to be a little longer ffir using to connect to a lens foot like the Sony E-mount 200-600mm or the 400-800mm lenses. There is barely enough space to fit the loop over the disc after threading through the dedicated lens holes.

They're soooo proactical and you can combine them with pretty everything! I added these to all my cameras and other stuff like bags, keys and actually everything you kinda need to carry. You can combine them with the leash, the strap and other. The only limit is your creativity :) Thank you peakdesign!

These anchors are a brilliant design. I use them on all of my Peak Design bags so I can use my camera strap with them. They lock securely into place and are easy to disconnect too. These are a great item to add to your Peak Design bags (and camera, of course).
