I bought the Smedium Cube because it was the largest sized cube that would fit the 25L Outdoor Bag. And from the get-go, I found it difficult to fit all the lens I would take outdoors (or on a trip) into the cube in a way that made sense. It took a bit of analyzing, but I figured out that the issue is that the cube is tapered downward, like an upside-down trapezoidal prizm. So while the opening is about 10"x12", the bottom is about 2" shorter in length and width. That really affects what you could fit in there (such as an 8" telephoto lens with hood) in a way that doesn't displace more space than needed or mess with the weight distribution inside the Outdoor Bag. I also found the shapes of the dividers not practical, and lacking as there is not one that can run down the longest length of the cube. And if they are going to fit inside another bag, maybe less padding to maximize usable space.

Great size for a body + 2 lenses and some small accessories. I love how versatile it is because I have the option to easily carry more gear with a second pouch, but for a casual day the small cube is all I need. I don't want to buy a camera backpack at the moment; the compact size works perfectly at the base of a Lands End/LL Bean style tote bag but I can also attach my Peak straps to the outside and use it as a sling on its own depending on what gear I need.

I had initially ordered the extra small cube. But realized it would most likely not be a perfect fit for me. I was able to cancel and re-order with no hassle at all. I'm very happy with the quality. I thought it would've been slightly more flimsy on the sides. However, the outside and inserts have good sturdiness to them. I put two peak design anchors on the loops so I can put a strap on it easily. Because of the flat base, I can have it rest in my lap. (I'm a wheelchair user) it acts like a work bench. Inside, I just moved one divider and I was able to easily fit my eos RP with RF 70-200 f4L. I still had room for a flash and the fold out picket is great for additional storage. All in all I'm pumped up. I think It's great that they are fair trade certified as well.

I purchased the Camera Cube V2 to go with the Outdoor Backpack 25L.I have always been happy with the design and quality of their products and this no exception. From experience I can say I have never had to replace or repair their items which is why I always return. If i thing could be changed.it would be to make it slightly longer to fit my Canon 200-800 mm Then it would be perfect

Very secure! I have great confidence transporting my analogue cameras. Fits an Olympus OM2 with a lense attached, one detached lense, and a 35mm point and shoot, alongside few rolls of film, some batteries, and also spare pack of instax film. Finally almost all of my camera stuff in one place. Also a great feature is that it fits almost perfectly in my Patagonia 32l Black hole backpack! Like a glove, leaving a bigger half of the bag for other things.

I bought the camera cube for a photographic expedition to Antarctica and it was great to have in my backpack. I love the way it fit inside the backpack and found it quite easy to use. It kept all my gear safe during some challenging landings.

Purchased this for a co-worker and was thoroughly surprised at the storage space of the medium cube! There's plenty of space for the camera, lenses, and other accessories without it feeling to compact. The cube's lining is sturdy and provides cushion to valuable items inside, while the outside has a textured ergonomic feel. I would highly recommend this storage cube to anyone looking to protect their photography goods without breaking the bank!

I bought the X-Large Camera Cube V2 so I have a single carrier I can grab and put in the car. One major requirement was to fit my 28cm-long superzoom lens, optionally mounted on my DSLR. I can fit more kit than I reasonably ever use. One load out I've tried includes two DSLRs, the superzoom, SIX additional lenses, plus the usual collection of batteries, cards, blower, cloth, etc. The one thing I wish was different is that the sides are a little floppy when the lid is open. Also, if I try to lift by one of the short-end straps, I hear a slight tearing sound. As far as I can see, nothing is giving way, but it is worrying nonetheless.

In a lot of ways it's better than the v1, but I got the XL due to the L being sold out and with my specific gear I found that it is physically larger but doesn't actually fit more gear than the V1 L size due to the longdividers running the opposite direction

I liked mine very much. I used it to organize my camera, lenses, etc. on a photo safari in Uganda. It was very efficient, so much so that my wife adopted it for her underwater photo gear. That's why we own two now and currently mine also is holding my underwater photo gear because it's diving season in our house.

I bought this camera cube few months ago now and I am satisfied with it. The build quality is good, I had no problem setting it up in the outdoor backpack 25L with the hooks. Removing the foam lid makes it easy to tuck below and forget about it when in a backpack. However I find the price quite high, especially compared to V1 camera cubes that were almost half the price of the V2 ; so instead of having 2 (one for each backpacks) I have only one that I move from one another.

I bought this a month ago and I'm super happy, I use it when I want to carry my bag in smaller backpacks. It works great. Now I also have multiple cameras, when traveling sometimes I don't have enough space on my carry-on and I use this camera cube to protect my second camera

I have the new 7L outdoor sling. I decided to get the camera cube to store my Fuji X-T5 with additional lens. I don't need a top cover with zipper. I understand you can tuck it away but I think this limited the shape of the cube. Why not create something without the top and free form so it can fit better in a sling. The current design makes the bag bulky and doesn't maximize the space within the sling bag. I would love to see just padding for cameras for the 4L and 7L for people who want to carry small to medium size cameras.

This cube is good for storing a camera, but it's not convenient for travel. It's important for me to have easy access to my camera when traveling. I use a 45L Travel Backpack, and this cube doesn't have side access. This creates problems when I need to take my camera out of the backpack.

This was exactly what I was looking for and needed to store all my photography equipment. Something that can not only serve as a storage box, but that I can put inside my travel backpack and take with me to work without having to make any kind of selection in the material I want/have to take with me.

Capture clip is still the best way to carry the camera, but ... there are situations. The cube will go with me on my 140 km hike north of the polar circle. It will do its thing in my large 80 l hiking pack. Sony A7C, 50 mm 1.4, 20 mm 1.8, 3 spare FZ100, MT-04 table tripod. Easy to load, easy to move in the tent, good enough for rain and shock proofing. Stuff is beautifully made, well engineered, plain useful.

I use a Small cube inside my SwissGear backpack, which works very well to keep my R8 + two lenses secure, along with a few accessories. One of these lenses is a long zoom, and the other is a compact prime. Nice to keep everything together instead of scattered in a backpack pocket. Just wish it came with an interior velcro pocket that had SD card pockets like the older model; I bought one separately.

I bought this after having used a v1 in small for more than three years. i was looking for something smaller to fit into my work backpack (a non PD one). The cube is small and perfectly fits my fujifilm xt50 with a zoom lens. It can also be used as a sling bag and this is simply perfect for me. Build quality is great as usual.

As a birder, the Large V2 holds my Nikon 180-600mm, my Z50ii camera body, 10x42 binoculars with plenty of room to spare for other accessories
