I'm a little disappointed with the newly designed Peak Design Anchor Links. I've been using the Anchor Link system for years now. From a functionality and versatility standpoint, it's just perfect. I even make my own straps with the anchor links. So, I was excited to see the new rope straps in nice colors with a thinner rope-I really like the product. The only issue is the new anchor links. My impression is that they're really fiddly to release. That was exactly what I loved about the old version.

I love my rope strap. It has a premium feel that's comfortable especially when using it for street photography. Even when not around my neck it can be a makeshift wrist strap. I don't think I can go back to any other type.

Looks cool BUT: The rope is actually quite rigid and gets awkward when you wind it up around your wrist. Also due to the rigidity of this round rope, it gets quite uncomfortable after a short period of time (not using a huge dslr even, but kind of a heavy brass Leica m). Also, because the rope is round and pretty rigid, if you use this as a shoulder strap, it does not feel secure and will inevitably roll off your shoulder. Finally the metal ring on the rope is useless and will absolutely scratch up your camera. I had to use bolt cutters to take off this stupid feature.

Solid and well designed. Comfortable round the neck. Innovative connectors that are easy to use. Pleasant colours

I was looking for a hands-free way to carry my phone around when I don't have a pocket. The attachment is magnetic, very secure, but somewhat hard to detach as a result. It does mean your phone is facing down, so if you have the attached wallet, your cards are in some danger of slipping out unless you reverse them. But the cord is sturdy and adjusts well. It's a solid solution when you want to go hands-free.

I bought this a month ago and returned it because it is not suitable for use with a full frame DSLR and mid size lens (24-70). In fact, it could be considered highly unsafe. The issue is that even after just a few minutes, the strap will start to hurt you neck and as well presents a huge safety strangulation risk because the rope is not very thick. I already had a medium flat/standard peak strap, which is great and comfortable, with though seems bulky, is the same size as the rope when not in use ( I wanted to try the rope because I thought it might pack smaller and as well when worn. I bought this in person in a store and the sales person did not advise me of this nor was there any warning about camera weights and hazards.

nice and easy, but the fixation goes too strong - maybe there will be some improvement

I bought this for my Fujifim X-E5, and it's perfect. Much lighter and less fuss than the Sling I use for my Nikon bodies, this type of strap is ideal for the smaller form factor of that camera. I chose the length with my preferred "carry - mode" in mind which is in front of body around the neck. I am 6' tall, and for cross-body, I would have chosen a longer version of this strap, but I rarely carry a camera that way. Nice touch are the color coordinated anchors, although I would have bought it with the standard issue black/red as well... LOL

I found the regular size a bit short and hard to use. I liked the blue colour but it was not available in the long.

I like the length better to wear crossbody but the colour choice is very limited. I wish it had come in blue.

I found this length to be too short for me but I love the ocean colour.

Always wanted a rope strap with the peak design anchor system, and finally peak design make one! It will be nice to have a orange or red colour though. I am 6 feet tall and the long is perfect length for crossbody carrying my nikon zf

Long overdue camera strap. I been using the old style PD straps. Noticed this and ordered one. I now have a medium and long version, plus a short leash. Wonderful design down to the new anchors. Much more comfortable.

Anchor link becomes thinner, good to hold. I love ocean blue color!

Love it. It comes with new anchors that fits my X-T5 better. I also like how it allows for different carry styles so I can use my camera frictionless. Recommended.

I got the display model from the shop in San Francisco as it was the last one left in stock. The new clip design is much smaller and sleeker. It is genuinely such an easy system to get a strap on and off my Fuji. Depending on how much I'm shooting that day it transforms between being a point shoot and a more dedicated camera in an instant. I can't imagine using the camera without it now

Outstanding product! The strap is made very well, I love the thin link connector. Mine is black standard rope. Would be awesome, if PD will update their Cuff with these new thin connectors!

I purchased this recently to replace a leather strap that I was using that added to much friction when sliding it across my chest. The Form Rope glides and the Anchor attachments are superior. Great product.

Love this rope strap. The material is soft and can sit neatly around your neck, or twist around your wrist - perfect for my Leica Q3 43.

My black rope neck strap is perfect. I purchased the strap to use with my GR3x and GR3, it can easily accommodate both cameras with the anchors provided with the strap. The black strap also keeps that minimalist stealth look of the GR series which I really like ??????????. Thanks Peak Design.

We created Form Rope as a minimalist and more delightful-to-use alternative to the other rope straps we've tried in the past. Instead of abrasive climbing rope sewn to chunky off-the-shelf split rings, we custom-designed our own materials and hardware to create a streamlined form with a brilliant connection experience.
The internally-developed basket-woven nylon/poly rope strikes the optimal balance of strength, padding, and stretch for comfortable camera carry. At the ends, the rope seamlessly terminates into a color-matched low-profile version of our glass-reinforced nylon Anchor Link quick-connectors, offering secure and effortless camera attachment.
A sleek anodized aluminum accessory loop lets you attach a spare Anchor, letting you stow your strap on your body when you remove your camera. With 4 fixed-length sizes to choose from, any photographer can dial in a perfect fit and carry style.
