I have a Pixel 10 Pro XL, and I've tried both the PD Everyday case and Gnar case, and Pixel Snap/MagFit/MagSafe/Qi2 compatible cases from Mous and Spigen, and nothing works well or reliably with this charger. I don't know if I got a bad charger or what, but if I put my Pixel in a case on this charger, there is only maybe a 1-in-3 chance the charger detects the phone at all. If the phone does connect, it charges very slowly and only for 5-10% before it looses connection. I think I've only had it charge my phone to 100% once while it was in a case. But if I take it out of the case, charging works just fine. Quick charging, adaptive charging overnight, everything behaves just as you would expect it to. Its like it can't "adapt" to the thickness of the cases themselves. Or that the case impacts alignment between the charger and phone enough that it cannot get a good connection. Maybe both. I am not going to give this charger one star because it does work. But removing my phone from its case to use it with the charger kind of defeats the purpose of having a case at all, so I will give this charger two stars.

It charges well and the stand is excellent quality. My suggestion would be to place the cord somewhere else because you need to remove it every time you want to fold the charger flat for transport.

This charger is great. Heavy-duty metal. The hinge is smooth, but firm, so you can keep it at any angle you like. It worked as well with my old 3rd party phone case as it does with my new Peak Design phone case. Pro tip: There's an indentation on the back side where the actual charging coil portion fits when it's folded closed. This indentation is the perfect resting spot for a Shokz OpenFit case.

I've had this charging stand for a couple of years now and use it every night. It is seriously built well, exactly what you expect from PD. I have a multitude of their products from bags to straps, mobile cases, chargers. Every thing Peak Design is outstanding! After a couple years, the usb-c connection wore out and I hadn't even changed the cable. Checked the cable and wall power supply - both are fine. Expected more from PD, especially for the high price.

This is very handy on my desk next to my workstation. Of course the inductive charging time is much slower than a direct charging cable, but that is NOT due to the Peak Design mount.

I bought this stand as a nice-to-have, but it really changed my routines and became an essential. With it's solid build quality, the smooth black surface and the integrated charging, it gives me the peace-of-mind feeling when I go to bed. Sleep-mode on and then slap the mobile device to the stand - I can even turn it from portrait to landscape! For travel, the stand can be folded to a minimum that fits into any bag or suitcase.

This charger gets hot during charging, and remains hot even after my Pixel 9 is fully charged. The first unit I had also would keep shifting in and out of charging mode, which caused my phone to heat up so much it was too hot to touch, and also messed with bedtime mode. I replaced it under warranty, but the replacement still gets too hot and feels like it never really stops charging when necessary. I stopped using it because I'm worried about damaging my phone's battery. I would return it if I could. Not recommended for Pixel phones.

I'm using the charging stand with as well as without a cable almost all the time at home - it's the perfect companion for video calls or cooking sessions where you have the recipe on your phone or just have it standing on my nightstand. The cable is nicely long so that you don't have struggles when using it. If you're not using it you can fold it and it's super small so that it doesn't take up space and can be stored perfectly.

Got this a month ago, it looks great and the magnet is strong and it charges quickly when it works. Unfortunately, it only works about 10% of the time. I have to unplug it, fiddle with the provided cable, and usually need about five minutes for it to work again. I was hoping this would be the charging solve for my home office, but it's about to go in the drawer. (Note: I have a PD everyday case on my phone.) I own a ton of PD bags, cubes, gear, etc., this is the only product of theirs that's ever failed me.

I've had several other charging stands, both the flat chargers where the phone lays horizontally and other vertical stands. The PD stand puts all of them to shame. It can do either. The build quality is very high. The hinge is perfect, just stiff enough to not move when you don't want it to, but easily adjusted when needed. The design is superb. The base is just long enough and heavy enough, but not too heavy, that attaching and detaching the phone doesn't usually move the stand. The strength of the magnets is just right. Makes it easy to attach or remove the phone with one hand. I love the fact that I can easily fold it flat for easy storage when I travel. It's as close to perfection as possible.

I originally bought one of these when it was on Kickstarter years ago, and I recently purchased a second so I could have one in my office as well as my bedroom. I like the sturdiness and design of the charger. Though it does charge more slowly than if it's plugged in directly, I don't mind too much. My biggest critique is that my first purchase came with the adapter so that I could plug it in to an electrical outlet, but it seems as though they have decided to save money for themselves by not including it or offering it as an option. I will now have to purchase one separately to actually use this for its desired purpose, which sucks.

I purchase the QI-1 versions, which work flawlessly with my Pixel 9 Pro in the PD Everyday case. The magnetic grip is very strong, and it never fails to charge. The craftsmanship of the stand is simply outstanding: the fit and finish are perfect, and it has a very high-quality feel and "heft". The hinge to adjust the angle has just the right amount of resistance to hold whatever angle you choose and the base is heavy enough to stay in place, so you aren't scooting the stand all over the desk or nightstand when you place it on the stand or remove it. I am extremely happy with the design and how well it works with my Pixel phone. I would purchase this again (in fact, I bought two!)

Just as a data point for everyone, this is working just fine for me with a Pixel 9 Pro phone in the "Mous Super Thin Magnetic Case". The phone snaps into place with a satisfying thwock, it immediately and reliably starts charging, and it stays secure until peeled off (which is no problem to do one-handed). It's been nice having this on a bedside table. One less "cord thing" to fiddle with when going to sleep or waking up. Also, if I need to check the time or kill an alarm, having the phone face raised/tilted is perfect.

This charger, while well built and solid, is extremely slow. I have a wireless charger stand I bought on amazon that charges twice as fast as this from exactly the same USB cable and cost 3 times less. Granted it doesn't look as nice, but still.

I bought this out of spite/jealousy. A friend and I were working together remotely, and were matched 1x1 with items. I had a Pixelbook, they had a Macbook. I had a Pixel Tablet, they had an iPad. I had a Pixel 9 Pro, they had an iPhone. And so on... Until the pulled out a wireless charger for their iPhone. I had no such device, instead letting my phone rest of the table flat, like a chump. Well, we couldn't have that! I purchased this immediately, determined to never be shamed again. It has served it's purpose very well. The only thing about it, as indicated in the title, is that the charger is a bit on the heavy side - this thing is a chonk. It is easily the heaviest small item in my arsenal. I feel like it could be redesigned with lighter material and made more portable.

The build quality is clearly high end just by the feel and look of the product. The hinge is very smooth during movements but still feels secure. The metal has clean edges and feels sleek. The specific color of black is amazing, it is hard to explain, you just have to see for yourself. Highly recommend!

I usually have meetings (like zoom, gmeet, etc.) and you know it drains a lot of you battery, so it's convenient for that. I like to use it too when I go to sleep and want to listen to smt. I hope it could charge as fast as cable chargers, but I know that's a bit difficult for now. Overall quality is good.

I bought this last week to use while working (at home and in the office). Go to try it a bit and for now, I'm very satisfied. I like the visual aspect of the charging stand and how sturdy it feels while manipulating it. The magnet holds the phone really firmly when used with pd phone case. Also, it's easy to find: I just slap my phone on the stand and the magnet takes care of the rest. (I've tested a few other stands that don't work that easily!) Also, I tried some zoom calls while charging the phone on the stand. The heat dissipation it quite good! Finally, while it's not really shown in pd's videos, you get a large range of angles (from 0 to 90 deg). The stand will stay at the chosen angle. ??
