I've never been a fan of writing reviews, but this product exceeded my expectations. It shipped to me in two days, it was exactly what I wanted and is of the highest quality. Highly recommend giving this case a look if you're in the market for protecting your loved ones (and by loved ones I mean our precious cameras and accessories).

This case it great. It holds a lot of stuff and I like it better than lugging around a backpack. I attach my modifiers and lightstand with a bungie cord when on the go. My go to kit in here is Canon 5D IV, Xplor 400, eVole 200, Canon 85mm, 70-200mm, 35mm, 24-70mm, batteries, transmitters, and other misc stuff. I purchased the laptop lid organizer for the smaller stuff.

What can I say about these cases that hasnt been stated before. I have many Pelican cases of different sizes and use. They are used for storage and transport. They have proven thier worth over the years. I have tried others that were less cost, you get what you pay for....simple. Now when I need a case, Pelican is my go, and when on sale, just makes it sweeter!

I purchased the case because I wanted something to stow all my camera gear in one place. The 15 compartments provided by this allows me to do just that. I love that it is waterproof and very durable. The added bonus for me was that is has wheels and a retractable handle. I really love this case.

As always and as many reviews has mentioned, this Pelican, like any other pelican, is roadworthy. The dividers are so so. They could use an update on the colors of the dividers. I got mine black and would have appreciated it more had the color been other than black, ie., orange, gray, red, green, etc. I make and customize my own dividers and use a thicker density foam material than the ones Pelican use which is made out of a packaging foam material. The base/bottom padded foam is not up to my standard. It does not have enough cushion. I suggest to put another padding thats a little soft to provide a better cushion for lenses when your case gets thrown around.

I needed a storage case for a recently acquired Losmandy GM-8 Mount with a non-standard ADM dovetail saddle. With a bit of careful planning, this case will fit the head, counterweight shaft, handbox and electronics (non-Gemini), plus all of the needed cables. At this point I see no need to blow $400.00+ for a custom case when Pelican provides such an excellent storage solution.

Four flights fully loaded (46Lbs), and still looks like new. My $250 Chicago Case toolbox which I replaced with this case looked like hell after the first trip. Should have bought this years ago. Only one gripe; the newer style articulated latches are easier to open, but I had one pop open on the baggage belt the first time out; I'd put a zip tie or a TSA compliant lock through the lock rings if you plan to fly with it.

This case not only survived long haul flights involving transfers as checked baggage, car trips and handling on a busy dive boat, it came back looking like brand new. Needless to say the housings and lighting units inside were snugly protected by the cubed foam. Definite peace of mind for the next trip.

This is a great case for a travelling diver who likes to take along an underwater video housing and light plus a compact digital camera housing with an external strobe and arm. I was hoping that this might just be able to be snuck on as cabin baggage (who wants to check ANY camera gear as baggage) but as it can't I belive that my housings have the best available protection. It reminds me of my old Samsonite Oyster suitcase so I know this should give me 20 years of solid protection for my gear.
