Underwriters Laboratories (UL) Listed
Underwriters Laboratories (UL) is a global independent safety science company offering expertise across five key strategic businesses: Product Safety, Environment, Life & Health, University and Verification Services. UL promotes safe living and working environments by the application of safety science and hazard-based safety engineering. The UL Listing mark means that the product has been submitted to rigorous safety testing according to UL1678 and UL2442. For a mounting product to pass the UL approval process it has to be tested for strength and "pull out" to a minimum of four times its stated load capacity. (Do not exceed rated capacity in actual use.)

Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA)
VESA supports and sets industry-wide interface standards for the PC, workstation and consumer electronics industries. Products that display this symbol feature a mounting hole pattern and mounting hardware compatible with VESA standard AV equipment. Most Peerless-AV products are compatible with a wide range of VESA standard AV equipment mounting hole patterns. Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (RoHS)
RoHS, also known as Lead-Free, stands for Restriction of Hazardous Substances. RoHS, also known as Directive 2002/95/EC, originated in the European Union and restricts the use of six hazardous materials found in electrical and electronic products. All applicable products in the EU market after July 1, 2006 must pass RoHS compliance. RoHS impacts the entire electronics industry and many electrical products as well.

Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD)
The Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD) Facilities Development Division (FDD) reviews and inspects facility construction projects and materials. FDD enforces building standards, per the California Building Standards Code, as they relate to facilities construction.OSHPD Special Seismic Certification is completed in accordance with the standards set forth and applied to AV mounting structures as related to seismic safety.
