James E. R : Will a point & shoot Camera mount to this?Tod S : Yes, works with Nikon P900, adjust the bracket to balance the camera, we also have a quick release mounted to it to match big tripod. Great for times you may want pod but not carry large unit.CHARLES R H : Anything with a standard 1/4-20 tripod mount hole can be mounted on this. I've mounted a full DSLR with a mid-length zoom on it for some low-angle shots and it was just ok for that. Anything smaller and it is much much better. Versatile and easy to use.

This tripod is great. It supports by a6300 with 18-105mm lens. I also have the smaller version and love that is well, but needed a larger one. The smaller one is a little easier to use because of how the Velcro secures the tripod to whatever your using, but it's all around more secure. This thing is really versatile and much more stable than the gorilla pod style mini tripods.

The Pedco UltraPod Grip is an excellent platform for POV sports cameras, camcorders, binoculars, spotting scopes, medium-format cameras, compact DSLR cameras with shorter lenses and other devices with a 1/4 inch-20 female thread. It is larger than the popular UltraPod I and is the newer version of their UltraPod II. The UltraPod Grip's newer design incorporates rubber over-molded grips on the rear legs to help hold the tripod securely on larger objects when mounting vertically or horizontally.

The tripod can stand on fold-out, no-slip feet or reliably attach to solid objects such as posts, tree limbs, railings, etc. with the removable hook and loop cinch strap. The unique ball and socket camera mount assembly adjusts to multiple positions quickly and easily without having to remove the device. The Grip is made of 30-percent glass-filled nylon resin with aluminum threaded components ready to provide years of support for the most demanding photographer.
