ML H : HELP!! I purchased a medium photoflex lightbox however no hardware came with it. Is the basic connector all I would need (JTL Lighting) ??? please someone help me outDAVID R : $35.00
i use this with a 580ex with an extra battery pack and paul buff cyber sync triggers for flash and camera. not sure about studio lights check alein bee site they nay have something for you.

I also had to purchase a Photoflex AC222SM Adjustable Shoe Mount to mount the connector onto my light stand. Hope this helps!ML H : Thanks!!MICHELE S : No hardware comes with any of the other photoflex lightboxes because the hardware you need depends on what kind of light you intend to attach the softbox to. And that varies from user to user.
I for example use DynaLites, so I purchased the speedring that allows me to attach the softbox to a DynaLite flash head.
When the store opens tomorrow, call someone in sales and tell them what kind of studio lighting you plan to use the softbox with and they will point you to the right connector ring.
The basic connector is for using the x-small litedome with a regular camera flash. if this works for you you'll actually have to buy some other stuff to. You need a knowledgeable salesman to help you assemble all the right parts.

Good even for bigger softboxes
I have 2 XS litedome form photoflex and one of them broke. I also have a Large softbox from photoflex with a speedring to adapt to the photogenic studiomax III monolights. I like to use the Sunpak 622 flashes because they're portable, powerfull and adaptable, so I took the XS litedome basic connector and adapt it to the Large softbox to use it with the Sunpak 622 and get a portable system in any location and studio quality lightning. I have been using it for at least 6 month and had great results. The basic connector is very strong. You should try it.
