I've wanted to use a soft box with my Novatron lights for years. When this connector showed up on my wish list, after disappearing for a bit, I jump on it. And it was on sale too! The included instruction sheet is very clear and easy to understand. I purchased the Photoflex medium box at the same time. Solid construction, should last for years.

Great option for Novatron lights

This octo-ring is the second generation and they got it right this time. It sets up quickly, attaches securely and provides for placement adjustments.

Very well made!

I have the previous adapter for the Novatron adapter and it took a little time to attach to the soft box. I also scratched my flashhead in the process. With this adapter I had everything assembled in about 10 mins

Worked Perfect

I really liked the ring that was attached to my Nova Tron strobe light. The ring came with another part, that from what the picture in the instructions looked like it was to attach the ring to it, then to my light stand. It wouldn't attach the ring at all (the holes were too small) and I found it to be a frustrating useless piece of whatever it is. I finally just attached the ring to my strobe then directly to my light stand and have been happy ever since. As for the useless part, I guess I could always spray it gold and frame it.
