A good tool but extremely expensive for what it is? for the price I would expect at least a hydraulic spring retractable system and a very nice carrying bag? this is as good with a $20 light stand from amazon?

This item is just as advertised. It has a long reach to enable light placement where it is needed. The pole has a useful round "ball" on the bottom that makes it easier to position and keep the pole stationary. Also, the foam grips are well placed and very helpful (especially for heavier loads). If you need a lighting pole with a long reach, this product should work for you..

Great light pole with a long reach . . .

Very easy to manage and use monopod. I really love the amount of extension I get on it, and the bottom has a round bulb that gives it some grip on most surfaces. So far, I'm very happy with my purchase.

The perfect tool for a roaming photographer with an assistant handling a light/strobe with a modifier. The large rubber ball on the bottom provides a nice grip on every surface I?ve used it on and the extra height allows for really nice angles. My assistant also mentioned it?s a sore shoulder saver!

The Photofllex Extra-Long Litereach Plus is one of the most great  engineer  Ever made. Wen you on location with an assistant holding the pole at any position and a moment notice you save time and never miss the moment...The Photoflex is very light and to carry..
I would recommend this product to anyone that dose event photography..

I have been waiting on this to come back in stock for a while. Had to jump on it when it became available. If your on the fence about purchasing just do it you won’t regret it

Great product

Buy this now!  Buy this if you want a boom pole for your heavy lights and modifiers.  The large ball on the end can sit on the ground ancored by your foot, even the smallest and weakest assistant can hold it.  I don't know why more companies don't make them.  I only wish for two things.  1, that there was an air suspension inside, and two, that the grips were in the first extension because that is what you'll be holding onto if you use it by placing the ball on the ground.  I love that the mount has a flattened edge, this helps keep the modifier from turning, huge annoyance on my other poles.  It's sturdy as hell and can really hold some weight at a very respectable height, just careful loosening the screws because the end will drop quickly if not holding on.  I love this thing and brag about it to everyone.
