The Starfire Digital Flash from Photoflex is a portable, shoe mount flash with a guide number of 80, 3 different flash modes and the ability to vary power in 1/7-stop increments. At full power, the Starfire recycles in approximately 4 seconds and it runs on 4 easily-available AA batteries. The head has a vertical rotation of -7 to +90 degrees and a horizontal rotation of 0 to 270 degrees. The flash duration varies from 1/800s to 1/20000s. A built-in slave makes it ideal for off-camera use as well as on-camera purposes.
