The Photoflex XTC II is a great little piece of work. It's easy to secure to a flash. The soft box idea is great and the light disbursement is soft and focused, the only drag is that it is rather bulky, but it is also very light and can be deflated at any time. If your in a rush to pack up at the end of a job, the deflation process can take a little longer than some may expect. There is a special valve installed so the air won't escape by accident, and I can definitely appreciate that, but I just want to pack and go when I'm done on a job.

At first I thought, "Inflatable??" But now, after about a month of useage, I go to it now more than the hard plastic diffuser I formerly used. I've even used it wireless off camera for architectural shots.

I used the softbox for wedding candids. I attached it to my Metz 60CT1 and was very pleased with the results.

The remedy for your harsh, unflattering on-camera flash is simple and inexpensive. The On Camera XTC II softens the light from your flash and at the same time gives you a broader area of coverage. The result is more natural-looking photos and no unsightly red eyes on people or pets. The v-shaped cut-away at the front steers clear of the sensor and will not interfere with automatic light metering. This mini softbox attaches easily to your flash with four Velcro strips.
