I LOVE this product! When I was a photo student, I checked out this softbox ALL the time to use with my hotshoe! As soon as I got the money, bought myself one and LOVE it!! The initial installation was a little confusing!....once I got it in place, it was a piece of cake!

Beautiful wash of light across your subject. There is no mistaken this is built tough and should last a long time. I've used this softbox for on location shooting along with the Alien Bees. It's the size of a tent really and kids always want to play in it. The 4 corners have velcro enclosures which make it easier to break down. I've never had a problem getting it apart within a few minutes and it fits perfect in the included bag. I'd buy this product again. Don't forget to pick up a speed ring for your light manufacture.

Bought two of these kits and have loved every shot taken with them !! Easy to set up ,and very well built. All metal flash adapter , just wish the softbox had an inner diffusion panel. But still a great product !

I only use for full lenght portraits. The quality is awesome but keep in mind this unit is quite large and you will need a large camera room. You will also need a very sturdy light stand for this softbox.

would have given this product a 5* rating if it had been better explained that you also needed to purchase the "Photoflex Basic Connector for X-Small Litedome" the soft box comes with NO connector this means that as shipped you cant use it or even put it together. And if you would like to attached a speedlight you also need to purchase the "Photoflex Accessory Hardware for X-Small LiteDome" (fits most shoe mount flashes) This I did purchase as it was mentioned in the Kit set-up I should also mention that even thought the Connector indicates it is for the X-Small litedome it also works on the Small Litedome As I am from Canada and had a friend pick this up this product from the States it would have been nice to have opened the box and been able to put the product together! I called Frank Brown (Sales Guy) who was very understanding of my situation and for an addition $ in shipping I had the missing part the next day

Photoflex products are quality , quality, quality !!! I liked my first setup so much I picked up a second one to match to use on locations/weddings etc.... Although the softbox is small it's construction is very well made!! Kit come's complete with bag,softbox,adapter ring,shoe mount,adapter for stand and stand. Great setup for quality products !!

I bought this little kit to try to get better portraits in dimly lit wedding situations and found it super easy to assemble and super awesome. I was surprised at how pleased I was with the results. The construction of some of the pieces seems a little flimsy but it's held up pretty well so farI I'm definitely considering purchasing more Photoflex products based on my experience with this kit.

After having this product recommended to me by another amateur photographer, I was pretty disappointed that the mounting hardware was machined very imprecisely such that when assembled, the mounted flash unit and softbox has a severe tilt to one side. I don't think it affects the lighting too much, but is nonetheless disappointing. Also the included assembly instructions are very poorly written and not extensive.

Even the quality is not as good as pro but it sure is the best choice base upon the cost comparing with other brands. As long as you use it carefully the life span should be as long as you want. I use it mostly for location photography with my wireless external flash. It is compact, easy to carry, light, wireless (or you have to use cord), and just use regular batteries. The paper like cover diffuser (also without internal diffuser) takes one star out of my rating. The big hole on the back without any covering takes another star out of my rating.

During setup the stand fell over on a carpeted area and the swivel broke completely in half. I emailed the company and they are taking care of it (although the problem hasn't been solved yet), but I was shocked that it would break so easily. I had used it maybe 3 times prior. Other than that, it's a great product....if you don't drop it.

A very good use for outdoor portrait photography. Portable for the size made. Setting it up is just easy, no cables needed but of course a wireless transmitter is needed. It would have been perfect if Photoflex had design this with back cover to cover the back open space at the edge of the flash. To solve my cons, I'd hang a black cloth instead, at the back of the softbox when photo shooting.

This kit is a tremendous value. It is a great modifier for head shots, babies, and small objects. It is easy to take down and setup. It takes up very little space. I wouldn't hesitate to buy one again. I wish Photoflex offered a larger size kit for small strobes.

For the price you can't ask for more, I love it, the only thing that I have changed is one of the shoe mounts for the packet wizard is too close from the other one and is hard to see and change the settings from the flash ( I fliped it down ) problem solved!. Thank you Photoflex

The only downside is the mounting clamp for the softbox is a little on the flimsy side. It hasn't broken though. The rest of the kit is very well made.

Exactly what I expected...Light weight, portable, and very functional. Set up in minutes and performed well. The only complaint is that the softbox is small and the light is not as diffused and soft as I would like. However, this is the nature of what this product is - a portable solution for flashes. Do not expect to get the same results as a strobe with a large softbox - but still delivers great photos. Enjoy.

I wish it has a second diffusion panel on the inside like traditional soft box. Therefore, the light is not as soft as it could be.

It's exactly what I wanted and at a very a affodable price ...I odered one similar and i'm gald I sent it back no way did it compare to the photoflex ....and it was easier than I thought to assemble ...take my word you can't go wrong with this purchase....they told me 5 days delivery I got it in 3 .....it is the real deal ..if you have other Photoflex soft boxes as I do you aleady know the quality and durablity this is the same ....don't pass on this deal !!
