This gives studio quality lighting (almost) from your speedlight. Very portable too. The only thing that I wished that it had was an option for another layer of diffusion.

Not really too difficult to assemble, takes a few minutes. Seem to work very well with my flash units.

The build quality is really cheap and I can tell it won't last long. If you're going to use it a lot. Save your money. Over prized product.

This is my Second unit. I uses almost every time on wedding and fashion photography as my principal light. I use with a big Flash Head Sunpak 622. Is not necessarily get additional items to setup as main light. Cons.: Diffuse so much. Is difficult to use on hard sun lights (as 12:00p.m.). I always use to mix lights, ambiance and flash light. I use in all my weddings and editorial photography as main. Better use at night.

I've not used it extensively, but it appears to be decently durable. If you were going to use it a lot, I'd probably spring for something a little more expensive/heavier quality. I don't own a light stand so I use my tripod, which works pretty well for the time being. I'll probably be getting a light stand in the near future. Overall it's a great product!

It's a super easy to set up softbox on the fly. I've used it a lot for quick portraits during weddings. I'd like to get something bigger but for the speedlights its great.

Great way to spread out the light from your off-camera flash. I use it for portraits.

I used this product to soften and spread the light from my SB-800 while its off camera. This products works as designed and is very easy to move into position when used with a light stand or boom.

Good option if you're looking for a portable light modifier. It does a good job softening up a speedlight - especially on location shots. It's somewhat of a challenge to set up (especially for dexterity challenged people like me) and was larger than what I had expected - which lessens the portability value. The setup doesn't perfectly fit my Nikon SB-600 flash and barely fits my Nikon SB-900, so it seems like it was designed for smaller speedlights.

I give 4 stars cause this along with others in it's class are way over priced. I know, i paid the money and i'm glad i did for what i have. at times though you look at design and materials compare to price and it's a big gap! I love the effect it gives off. setup can be somewhat time consuming, i don't have it down pat yet either. all-in-all, if your looking for something like this, it's sturdy, works, lightweight, very transportable then get it. might miss your money but will like having the product!

I like this pack overall. When i received i got two of the small flash brackets, and i thought how funny that was, well next day opening the bag the piece drops and the screw that tights the flash brakes apart, it may be replaced but thanks i got the other one haven't tried, i'm more careful now, it wasn't a big fall so i find it a bit fragile. Next you have to tighten the flash as most as you can and make sure that it worked out, i dropped a flash for not tighten hard, although i feel like i could tight to much and break the piece (the bracket not the shoe). Once tight your flash is safe. The other thing is that the aluminum sticks are a bit fragile, if you don't tore it a part carefully the bend a bit to much, what worries me when straighten them back to normal, cause it feels that it could be brake. So at the end is loads cheaper than the lastolite, but not that cheap. The effects that i got, is as expected from a softbox this size, hard but soft. Really cool look.

Product works great; the results are phenomenal. When you use the mounting system that attaches the flash to your camera, it becomes a bit awkward and cumbersome. Would not recommend for long photo shoots unless you have a stand to mount the flash on.

I use the product with a slave flash (Speedlite 430ex). Great with close up portraits on a sunny day. Fill flash does not look too artificial.

I used the small Photoflex Light Dome at a wedding and at Valentine's Dance. Only the photos that were taken either close-up or midway were the best ones. Anything at full length were too dark. Otherwise it does a good job. I also took some outdoors and those came out beautiful! No complaints. I really like it!

I'm quite pleased at the softness of the light. It makes good use of shoe-mount flash power, since the light is focused into a small area, rather than spread out wide like in an umbrella or larger softbox. I like the decision of NOT having a secondary diffusion baffle (like those in a lager softbox), because illumination is already even across the surface, and adding a baffle would eat up some light power. It's very small and light. I never needed to disassemble it, since it doesn't take a lot of storage space anyways. The small size makes it easy to mount on a boom as a hair light, or to use outdoors on windy days. I like the flash mount that accepts different flash heights, especially for those people using a hot-shoe adapter for triggering the flash. The screw that allows height adjustment is a bit too small though, so when tighten by hand without tools, the flash is a little wobbly. One of the thumbscrew has a hole on the bottom that allows mounting the whole softbox to a lightstand or flash bracket.
