totally satisfied with it, purchased two and I think I'll replace all the others with this it soon.

All porpose holder!

After two years of having the life beaten out of it, I thought I'd comment on this piece of equipment.

If you need a swivel, buy this. Done. End of discussion. This swivel is made out of metal, making it extremely durable. The benefit of to this is that you can put a huge umbrella on this puppy. I regularly attach a 60" umbrella, extended all the way out to this swivel. No problem. Been doing that for two years now. 

I can easily switch over to a softbox without any problems. 

Overall, if I had to replace my current photoflex swivels (if they died from fire, flood, theft, implosions, etc), I'd buy these again...easily.
