I researched every flash unit on earth. And it came down to Photoflex's reputation for great modifiers and their incredible implementation of 2 handles. I can't tell you how awesome these units are. When I have my camera and long lens in hand and need to udjust the angle/position of my light with a big 5' Octodome, it would be a pain to have to take the camera off just to get 2 hands on the unit. With Photoflex's 2 handles, I reach up with 1 hand only, turn to losen, move the light exactly where I want and then retighten. I love the fact you can also slide the main mount under the unit forward or backwards, allowing for better balance of the flash head in relation to how heavy the modifier is on the front. I only have one complaint, but it's not enough to stop me raving about this product: It's not easy gettig your hand around the main tightening knob to get it really secure. But I plan to modify it with a ratchet-type handle, which would be nice for Photoflex to implement. That would make their units the best on the market in their category, in my opinion. Just look at the quality of light in my photos. Units are consistent and have all the features you'd ever want. Not to mention they feel incredibly solid and are made with all features you'd ever want.
