I don't usually write these but, I'm a little frustrated w/ this bag. First of all, IT'S NOT PADDED! I'll take the blame for this one as I could've taken the time to research it elsewhere but, did not. My next complaint is that while it may be fine for carrying light stands if, like me, you need something like a boom to fit in there forget it! My largest arm measures 45-3/4" with all the fittings removed and it only fits in this 47" bag if I angle the pole, stretch the bag to the max, and then pretend that I'm not aggravated that the bag is all twisted and bent out of shape. Grrr! 47" bag my A__!!! Oh and lastly, I'm probably just complaining at this point but, I expected to get a quality product from Photoflex and the back panel of this bag is anything but. Five sides of this 6 sided bag are made of a reasonable, quality canvas type product typical of good bags. The long side opposite the smaller pouch is made of a very noisy crinkly vinyl material not unlike that stuff you find on cheap duffle bags that always frays first. Just what I wanted! 3 stars. Returning just as soon as I can find one of those 48" Pelican bags that are no longer in production. My 38" Pelican tripod bag is awesome and would give it 5 stars any day.

Almost a good bag

it is so huge that i have 4 light stands and 2 softboxes in it, a tripod and monopod and still has room for more!!!
