Paglight M... A versatile miniature on-board light for smaller camcorders PAG has introduced a miniaturised version of its Paglight, designed specifically for smaller digital camcorders. The Paglight M is an ultra-compact 12V light that embodies many features of the original Paglight, including a focusable beam angle, plug-in lampholder system, and detachable power base.

The Paglight M is constructed from a modern engineering polymer and incorporates PAG's patented heat dissipation system, making it cool-running and comfortable to handle during operation.

The beam angle is fully-focusable, with a smooth transition from spot to flood and an even spectral distribution. Lampholders plug into the back of the light, making lamp changing quick and easy. A choice of standard, or Soft-Start lampholders for use with Li-Ion batteries is available, utilizing 10W, 20W and 35W standard G4-size 12V halogen lamps.

Wattage variants can be quickly and easily exchanged without the need to handle the lamp. A rotatable accessory ring can be fitted to the front of the light, which accommodates snap-in barndoors, a dichroic filter, and a diffuser.

A Softlight Diffuser and Filter Kit can be fitted to the front of the barndoor assembly for super-soft lighting and colour filter eff ects.

Perfect Positioning; The supp ort base of the lamphead is a multi-directional mounting which allows the light to be adjusted vertically and horizontally. The pivot points are friction adjustable to maintain the desired position in all situations of use.

Paglight M incorporates a hot-shoe type power base with a flying lead. A variety of of connectors is available, suitable for most camcorders. The power base features a 1/4" whit. thread. This allows the light to be mounted to the camera via a variety of universal mounting adaptors.

Power to Light Adaptors provide a convenient way of powering and positioning an additional light source when on location. If the shot requires additional accent or rim lighting, having a Power to Light Adaptor at hand could save the day.

A spare Paglight M in your kit can be mounted to a large range of batteries, via the appropriate Power-to-Light Adaptor, and conveniently positioned on any flat surface to achieve the desired lighting effect. The battery acts as a stable base for the light. If you choose a PAG L95 Time Battery it will display the exact run-time for the Paglight on its built-in Power & Time Display - the industry's most accurate.
