Works well and much faster than the built in card reader on my desktop. For some reason though every time I start computer up I get a warning saying that it wasn't recognized or something like that.

If you have a CFE card, you want this.

Pro: fast. Really fast, which is good, because my cards are 128 gigs if I fill them, and the camera has two cards. Cons: It was a little cranky about showing the CFE slot, until I rebooted the system, and the cards get warm if you don't remove them as soon as you are done having them read. Solid purchase

Great CFE / UHS II reader, solid build

Great product. Works great, but runs a bit hot with the CFExpress card. Too bad it will not read an XQD. Perfect companion for a D850 with CFExpress and SD UHS II combo ... but not the older XQD (same pin out & shape, just will not read) This is in the fine print, so not a surprise.

Double the speed, double your free time!

I was skeptical at first at how much faster this could actually be, but WOW! If you are a professional shooter and transfer large amounts of files from your cards often, even daily like myself, then this will be a huge time saver. Easily double the speed of my existing card reader, so after a long day of shooting photo or video, it takes me half the amount of time to copy 28 to 35 GB of data. So glad I made this purchase.

Transfer your data files at speeds of up to 1.25GB/second using the ProGrade Digital CFast & SD Dual Slot Workflow Reader. Indispensable for cinema, video and photography workflows where large volumes of data files are the norm, this reader provides simultaneous rapid and efficient transfer of data from cards in both slots.

Portable and compact, the ProGrade Digital CFast & SD Dual Slot reader features an industry-first magnetic base that pairs to an included metal plate. Affix the small metal plate to laptop or host device, then connect the reader to safely and efficiently transfer files - whether working in the field or studio. Two included 18" USB connector cables (one A to C and one C to C) ensure device interoperability. An LED activity light indicates when transfer is complete.
