I wish it had more outside pockets and a handle on the bottom to lift it into the car, it gets heavy and grab it by the wheels, my arms aren't long enough to get a good grip to grab it by the bottom. It's really missing little pockets, I can't stress that enough. The inside layout is great and the wheels are great. I can get most everything in, but my gimbal, haven't figured a good solution for that.

A fantastic piece of kit. All my photographic equipment fits in great, and the ease to move the bag in any direction is fantastic. Highly recommended this bag for travel on aircraft and public transport. I regret not purchasing this earlier. Instead, I went for a cheaper bag from another brand. That bag was not as manoeuvrable and the carry handle broke. PGYTECH definitely know how to produce quality gear.

I've been using the PGYTECH Roller Bag throughout my Europe trip, and it has genuinely impressed me. After taking it through multiple airports and airlines, a few features really stood out. The biggest highlight for me is the expandable design. The bag adapts to what I need instead of forcing me to pack a certain way. Whether I'm traveling light or carrying extra camera gear, the expansion capability makes a noticeable difference. Rolling the bag is another area where it excels. The wheels are exceptionally smooth, making it effortless to maneuver through airports, train stations, and long terminals. It glides with very little effort compared to many roller bags I've owned. Another major advantage is its airline compatibility. I successfully used it as an overhead carry-on with Norwegian, British Airways, and American Airlines. If you're ever concerned about the overall length, the removable roller system is a brilliant solution. Taking off the wheels helps the bag fit more easily into stricter overhead size limits without sacrificing storage space. The front expandable compartment is an underrated game changer. Before boarding, I load this section with heavier items so it functions almost like a personal item. Then, when it's time to place the roller in the overhead bin, I simply remove those heavier items and carry them separately. This instantly makes the bag much lighter and easier to lift overhead. Because the front compartment is surprisingly spacious, it can hold a significant amount of gear, making this workflow incredibly convenient during travel. Another feature I ended up appreciating is the compartment that houses the backpack straps. When the straps are tucked away, that space doesn't go to waste-it can actually be used as additional storage. It's a clever design that gives you a little more packing room for flatter items without affecting the bag's functionality. There are a couple of drawbacks worth mentioning. The bag itself is on the heavier side, weighing around 4 kg before you've packed anything. If you're flying with airlines that have strict carry-on weight limits, that's something to keep in mind. The telescoping handle is also a bit wider than on many other roller bags. Personally, it wasn't an issue for me, but it may slightly reduce packing flexibility for certain items. Overall, after using the PGYTECH Roller Bag throughout Europe, I can confidently say it's one of the most practical travel bags I've owned. The combination of expandable storage, ultra-smooth rolling, removable wheels for added flexibility, extra hidden storage behind the backpack straps, and the ingenious front expansion compartment solves several real-world travel problems that I regularly encounter. While it's not the lightest roller bag available, the thoughtful design and versatility more than make up for the extra weight.

The roller backpack is so clutch for travel and just transporting gear in general. It's so nice being able to roll my gear and put it on my back when needed. Only things that i'd like to see in a version 2 is more pocket storage/organization. Also i'm a fan of having my gear in the backside of the backpack so it's always against my back but for now i'll just keep it locked on that zipper when it's on my back or rolling when i don't need immediate access. Genius idea though thank you guys.

This is my dream bag. I've been into photography for a while now and once again I've gotten more serious about it I needed something that could hold all my gear and was easy to carry around. This backpack by PGYTECH it's the one I've been waiting for. Plenty of room to store all your gear. I easily put three cameras in it with five lenses to flashes and a multiple host of other things I like the idea of it going from a carry bag style with great wheels that can spend 360 degrees appear to actually removing the wheels and applying it as a backpack. If you've got expensive gear cameras, drones this bag will not disappoint you made a solid material and it would be a keeper for a long time.

I own the PGYTECH v2 backpack and I thought it was the best camera backpack out there. Then I took a trip to the Caribbean which had a layover at the Miami airport. To get to my connecting flight felt like a mile (if you know that airport you know that's not an exaggeration). The weight of my camera gear for that long and that much walking almost destroyed my back. Right then I started thinking of a way to put the camera backpack I love into a roller suitcase. Luckily PGYTECH beat me to it and came up with this bag. Talk about the ultimate camera backpack!! I now roll my gear with a duffel carryon through the airport. When they make the announcement at the gate that they now have to check roller bags, I take the wheels off this thing and put it on as a backpack. Then I don't get bothered by the ground crew about having to give them my roller. This thing is brilliant.

So it was between this and 58 t vanguard. This one is way lighter, bigger handle, more interior space, expandable, side pockets, larger laptops fit, the straps tuck away. What I don't like: zippers aren't as nice, build quality doesn't seam as rugged as the vanguard. The fabric seams weak compared to the vanguard but time will tell. Wheels also seem more quality on the vanguard but it's close to the same. There is more protection in the vanguard. The vanguard is more comfortable as a backpack. The straps and padding for your back on this one is terrible. What I wish they would fix: better zippers, more D rings for attachments, make the backpack straps clip on that way I can zip up the back compartment and store more stuff while using it as a back pack.

I have been using this for a year and have taken it on several domestic and overseas trips. I have rolled it all over festival grounds and plenty of concert venues. It still looks good! It can handle being rolled on concrete and even bumpy streets. It looks like I'm wheeling luggage, so people don't realize I have cameras inside. Why advertise? I initially got this style because it converts to a backpack. I used to carry some of my gear in a small bag, and it is a back breaker walking a mile (and with inclines). Regarding this 2-in-1 Roller Camera Backpack, I should have just gotten a regular roller style. I haven't even used it as a backpack. It's too heavy to lift and walk around. I carry two Nikon DSLRs, a strobe, a wide-angle lens (50mm), and a long lens (200 mm) for normal shoots. If I travel, I add a laptop and another long lens (400 mm). Heavy! I especially like the little bag that fits in the side pouch. I keep spare batteries, earplugs, lens wipes, and snacks here. There are other compartments that are great for fitting snacks, a rolled-up jacket, magazines, battery packs, cords, you name it! Plenty of space! Just a hint. If you want to put it in the overhead compartment, take the wheels off and carry the bag onto the plane. I need assistance with lifting the bag, but it fits. Then, when you leave the plane, pop the wheels back on. It takes a few minutes to properly put them in. I did lose a wheel in the airport (I didn't notice it until after leaving security). It still rolled on three wheels. When I contacted the company and explained what happened, they gladly assisted. I ordered a couple of wheels, and they replaced the one that popped off. I now keep a spare wheel in my bag. Overall, it was pricey but well worth it. It has saved my back from carrying a ton of equipment. It keeps everything organized. And it can fit in the overhead compartment (e.g., Delta, British Airways) with the wheels removed.

This is an absolutely amazing camera roller bag/backpack. PGYTech thought of everything when they designed this. I have had a Think Tank TakeOff V2 2 Wheel Rolling Carry-On for two years. This is an excellent bag, but it only has two in-line wheels, and as I get older I have difficulty navigating airports and hotels with this, especially if I piggy-back an underseat bag on top of this. I found this PGYTech roller bag when I searched for bags with four wheels. It is extremely well-made and has so many standard and bonus features that it would be hard to mention them all. Firstly, the four wheels roll very smoothly, and as a huge extra feature they are easily and quickly removable for saving space. I don't know of any other bag that does this. This 30 L. bag is very roomy inside and has a separate expandable front section for extra gear or clothes. There are plenty of other compartments and even a hiding spot for an AirTag. The included dividers are plentiful and configurable in any way you want. Another winning extra is the separate detachable tech bag, which can hold batteries, power banks, etc. and can be easily shown at security lines if needed. The retractable handle is unusual in that it is wide. This makes it very sturdy and easy to maneuver. Some people have criticized it since the handle is so wide you cannot piggy-back another bag with a handle sleeve on top of it. This can be easily solved by attaching an additional luggage strap/bungee which will cost about $10. The laptop/table compartment under the cover fits a big laptop and iPad with ease. A rain cover and bag for the wheels is also included. The hidden backpack straps are robust and a sternum strap is included. You can use it as a backpack with the wheels on or with them removed. With my current configuration of the interior I can fit my Sony APS-C camera, three lenses, my geared tripod head with leveler, my complete drone bag, the included tech bag, filters, chargers, a headlamp, and a flashlight. A tripod can go on either side in the sleeves or strapped onto the top. The exterior fabric seems to be very durable and cleanable. For the $329 price this bag is much less expensive and better designed than the Think Tank or Peak Design bags. I cannot wait to take this bag on my next photo adventure!

Very happy with this purchase. I have now traveled with it a few times, even on the smaller regional jets. I haven't had any issues with it fitting in the overhead compartment and it was a simple getting through security and moving around in the airport. Very high quality materials and I feel like it protected my camera gear very well. This brand doesn't disappoint. Highly recommended.

It fits a big telephoto lens - not the 600 prime but 300 prime canon lens and has lots of space for else. Best part is it's a roller and a backpack which is great to have both options! And the wheels are easy to put on and off as a roller bag!

I love this thing. Wheels are insane it just keeps rolling with no effort. Super sturdy handle. Quality materials and the thing even fit in the overhead bin on my flight, and in the orientation that takes up the least amount of sideways space. If the bin was smaller I could even remove the wheels to fit. It's pushing it in the size department though so if you're scared about plane travel / needing to check-in then you may wanna splurge for the peak design roller pro

I got this specifically to fit a lot of gear I was needing to take for a project that required flying to location. It was domestic and on a larger aircraft (long-haul LA to NYC) Boeing 767-300 twin-jet with Delta. This plane has 2-3-2 seat configuration in main cabin, for those wondering the layout. The bins in the center are smaller than those that are on the larger rows. To err on the side of caution I removed the wheels right before boarding just in case, and popped the small bag with the wheels into my smaller carry on bag. This bag fit in both, either the small or large bins on this flight. If you are flying international and taking regional planes within the country (looking at you, Europe and several European airlines), this will not fit. If you extend the front for the extra 10L, it will not fit, and probably wouldn't fit on a domestic airline either, even in the larger bins. Hopefully this helps anyone looking at this for travel. The fact that you can switch from wheeling to backpack quickly and easily means that you won't be challenged by terrain or stairs anywhere you go, air travel or not. But having wheels is really the game changer for me for lugging gear. Being able to expand an extra 10L is so awesome for extra bits (small gimbal) or personal items. When you do wear as a backpack, it's HEAVY, but it has sturdy, comfortable straps. So if you're traveling regionally and not on a plane, you can maximize its storage and have everything you'd need for a wedding or gig in one bag on wheels (almost everything - photographers yes, videographers maybe but often there's always 10,000lbs of extra gear lol). As far as the interior it's got some heavy-weight, sturdy padding, and lighter dividers that will keep your gear secure, but if you want extra security for air travel for example, use the covers that come with some lenses. The inside is also VERY deep so almost anything will fit in here. In one pouch my wireless mics (in a pouch), fit snuggling on top of a lens so it was extra snug, secure, padded, and fit two items in one pocket. The extra pouch it comes with for things like batteries, memory, etc is a nice touch. some of the elastics seemed a bit useless for some of my gear, but over-all that was a nice touch. You can hide an AirTag in the main compartment behind the base padding. It doesn't come with a build-in lock but you can use a TSA approved lock for the main compartment because there are loops for a small lock (the one that has a cable loop). I do both of these and a luggage tag for added security and so that if (heaven forbid) its ever misplaced, my info is with the bag. TLDR Pros: - Will fit on a larger aircraft for domestic flights (Delta's 767-300 twin jet fit just fine for me). - Fits a TON of gear and includes a pouch for memory, batteries, cables, etc. - Looks sleek and not too outwardly "tech" so it doesn't call out you're carrying tons of expensive gear. - Comfortable backpack straps and easy to switch from roller to backpack in seconds. - Accessory strap for attaching something to the outside (tripod, small umbrella, etc.) - Side pockets nicely sized and have straps as well to secure accessories. Cons: - Can get HEAVY and is heavy even with nothing in it. - Won't fit on international flights as carry-on. - No built-in lock (but main compartment zipper has loops to accommodate your own).

Honestly, this is one of the best purchases I have ever made. I originally bought it as a camera bag, but what I received is a premium, ultra-practical, and extremely well-designed travel bag that goes far beyond my expectations. First of all, the comfort is unreal. I have already traveled with it six times (airports, long walks, constant movement), and not once did I feel tired or strained. What a wonderful bag. So well-made. Wheels glide like your own ice. Backpack straps are wonderfully padded. The backpack itself is large and can hold any enormous amount of gear if necessary. The only issue is it can get rather heavy if you put too much in. This is probably the best roller bag I have ever had, including think tank.

After having this bag for about 4 months I have to say this is now my favorite bag. I have not tried to fly with it yet but my measurements show its small enough for most US domestic flights. The weight of the bag is very nice and once I have everything inside it, its not to bad. The size fits everything I need a Sigma 50mm, Sigma 150-600mm, Canon full frame R6 II and about 4 other lens standing upright in the bag. I have recommended this bag to about 10 people and absolutely love it!

I love this carry on roller bag. The spinner wheels are wonderful and easy to remove and put back on as well as making maneuverability a breeze. I know it's silly but one of the main reasons I wanted this bag was because of the spinner wheels. I have older luggage with two wheels and it is awkward at times maneuvering them around. The extending handle is very nice and easy to extend and lower. I am going on a trip to Iceland in October and was very concerned about the dimensions Iceland Air has issued on their sight about carry on luggage. The dimensions are very small compared to other airlines. 21.6 X 15.7 X 7.8. 7.8 inches thick.?! I don't think you can find a bag that thin for camera gear or anything else for that matter. After reading many conflicting reviews about dimensions I decided to order the bag, figuring I would return it if it was too large. I had the opportunity to actually go to the airport we are flying out of. I found the Iceland Air check in area and they had a bin you could put your carry on bag in to see if it meets their carry on specifications. I took the wheels off and pushed on the center of the bag a little and it slid right down in the bin. It was tight as far as thickness but it went in. (I should have taken a picture but did not think to do so at the time unfortunately.) Well, come to find out I opened up the 10L space that expands on the bag after I got home because I thought it just felt weird. It would barely give at all when you pushed on it. Inside was packed a clear plastic packing pillow filled with air about 2-3 inches thick! They probably just put it in there for packing/shipping purposes. Once I took that out of the bag the depth of the bag is 8 - 8 1/2 inches easily if you squish on it, air poofs it out a bit, so no problem fitting it in the bin now as long as it is not overpacked. We are flying on Iceland Air and flying out of Detroit. The airport is Detroit Metro Airport. I am thrilled as I did not want to return this bag. I have a Nikon Z7ii, a 24-70, 70-200, a 20 mm lens that I will be taking with me and they fit in there fine with weight of the bag at 16.8 lbs. I will be adding a Z8 and a 14-24mm lens which, based on specs, will add 3.24 lbs which combined with the other gear is under the 22 lb limit so room for a few more things. My laptop put it at.6 lb over so may try to put it in there and see what happens but I do have a last minute switcheroo option that will work. A few people have mentioned the bag was too large for Delta and United but I looked at their specs and they were bigger than Iceland Air so not sure why they thought the bag was too big. It is 23 inches long with the wheels but you can take the wheels off, which I had to do, so you are down to about 21 inches. As long as you don't overpack it as I said above the thickness of the bag is about 8-8 1/2 inches. When I put it in that bin at the airport it was over 9 inches thick and it still went in. It rolled very nicely through the airport and I simply lifted it up off the ground when using an escalator or the gliding walkways they have in airports. I did not want to scratch or ruin the wheels as I wasn't sure if I was keeping the bag or not at that point. Another review said there is only one handle. There are actually three. There is a handle on top of the bag and also another handle on the side of the bag for lifting purposes as well as the extending handle when rolling the bag. I did not notice the handle on the side at first as it blended in with the bag, but it is there. It is sewn into the seam about half way down. They are made of sturdy fabric and suit the purpose for which they are intended. I don't know that I will use it as a backpack very much but the straps are very nice and it is easy to fold the back of the bag down and secure. When it is in backpack mode you can also pull out the "wheel socks" which cover the back wheels to not dirty your clothes when carrying it on your back. Removing the wheels from the bag is quite easy. All you need to do is push the little lever and pull the wheels out. To put them back on you just push the lever again and I grasp the wheel in my other hand out over the edge of the bag, line up the straight edge of the post that inserts into the bag, push down and let go of the lever. Just practice a few times and you will find it very simple. The "tech pouch" is very nice as well. I experimented with what I could put in there. It will easily fit three spare batteries, three SSD's with cords, passport, I.D., lip balm, keys, etc. There are also two deep pockets on each side of the bag that you can use for a water bottle, tripod, tech pouch or whatever you may need them for. Also a zippered pouch on the front of the bag you can put items in you need to get to fast. Passport, I.D., etc. The 10L expanding area will be very nice for a jacket, extra clothing, etc or some people have suggested using it as a space for a gimbal. I will not be using that on the plane ...

Great Camera Bag - a roller and a backpack! I really haven't put this bag thru its paces, I.e., flown or hiked with it. But, it's exactly what I had hoped it would be after watching countless reviews. Feels very high quality. Wheels are super smooth and efficient. Interior dimensions are perfect for my needs and well-padded. My primary requirements are for a Nikon Z8 with 180-600 mounted. Then room for my 24-120 and wide angle zoom. And have enough room left over for a 2nd body, another prime, compact flash, battery charger. Definitely accommodates all that. Top handle is wide and strong. Side pockets are great for travel tripods and water bottles. A really well thought out piece of kit. And, it looks great. Very pleased especially for its price. I think PGYTECH is killing it with their product designs and value.

So I been using this bag for a few months now so I need ti give it a truthful review the pros n the cons. pros glides smoothly on the wheels, weight in backpack mode is not that heavy. size is a great size overall color is nice n neutral. so the cons and sadly there are more then pros. rolls away to easily at a photoshoot, scuffs very easily on the bag material zippers will get jammed the battery case is very thin n floppy there is no solid base to it time to time sadly for the price this bag is not worth it
