Not compatible.
The plug is not compatible with my Nikon SB-900. Had to send it back.

Good value for its price
The battery pack performs as advertised. I use it with a Nikon SB800 and a Phottix Mitros. You will need to buy a separate Phottix adapter for it to work with the Mitros. I would have preferred it to have had a built in light to show that is is connected and also would have liked to see a battery meter showing how much battery life is left. The sliding door that holds the batteries in place is a little flimsy. It slid right off after using it a couple of times. I was able to re-attach it, but felt that it should have been built a bit better. The instruction manual makes reference to 2 connectors being needed to work with Nikon flashes. After contacting Phottix, they told me that was referring to a previous version which is no longer made. Also, be aware that you still will need to have batteries inserted in the flash unit itself meaning that you will need 12 AA batteries in total.
