LENORE W : How long is the cord when it isn't stretched?JAMES G : Between 12 & 18 inches.GARY R : After some use, mine now measures 27-inches. I would estimate about 24-inches when it was new.ACCOUNTS P : I would say approximately 6-8 feet. As a 6 foot stretch it could pull the tripod with it. Might need a strong weighted base to get the maximum stretch.
