OK - But ...

They are OK but after only a few uses I see small tears in the material. I bought a larger Glow softbox which is much better built overall so I'm going to purchase the Glow strip boxes to replace these.

Great value

These cannot be beat for the money iMHO. I've used them with speedlights for headshot and portrait sessions as key, fill and rim lights. Because of the location of the speed light, they're a little hotter up top than down low. Quality construction, decent diffusion material and a good grid system. They're very portable as well.

The new Phottix Easy Up HD 40x90cm Umbrella Strip Softbox - instant dramatic rim or slash lighting. The 40x90cm Strip Softbox is a quick to set up light modifier, perfect for on-location shooting. Opening like an umbrella, it expands into a strip softbox, saving time over traditional softboxes which require rods and speed rings for assembly. The recessed front diffuser allows for more precise positioning and feathering of light.

Included is a removable grid to better control light spill in situations when accuracy is essential.
