Light and easy to assembly.
I got this for location photography and it is great for it! Materials are good quality, i like that instead of aluminum internal structure it's plastic and avoids bending and easy breaking. It's a good modifier for outdoor and indoor shooting. I'm very happy with this purchase.
The Phottix Pro Easy Up HD Umbrella Octa Softbox with Grid 80 cm is made with internal white fiberglass spokes for high durability. Perfect for on-location shooting. It folds down like a regular umbrella but expands straight into a square softbox for instant use, saving time over traditional softboxes which require rods and speed rings for assembly. The recessed-front diffuser allows for more precise positioning and feathering of light.
Included is a removable grid to better control light spill in situations when accuracy is essential. A flash or studio light mounts backwards inside the softbox. Shooting towards the rear creates an even light which reduces any photo spoiling hot spots.
