Barry B : will this work with the flashpoint ab200?ANDREW R : Specific flash model compatibility is not stated by the manufacturer. Works with most popular hot shoe flash models.
Gerardo J : Can it be bought with the Phottix Elinchrom Speed Ring instead, I have no use for the Bowens ring ?ANDREW R : Unfortunately no. While we do offer the Elinchrom mount as an optional accessory, we do not carry a version of the Cerberus with the Elinchrom mount pre-installed.

Easiest way I've found to mount soft boxes to speedlites

I'm a big fan of the Westcott line of Rapids boxes for my speedlites, but there are other mainstream boxes I would like to use, but the mounts for speedlites are a little slim. Profoto has one that can mount two $$$, but this little grabber from Phoenix has been perfect for me. Solid grip, and enough room to keep my speedlite plugged in to the external pack. Plus, the thing is cheap for photography gear. Works great for me.

A tool, not a toy

Solidly built, this is a tool, not a toy. The ergonomics are a little weak- the spring-loaded grip is difficult to open while inserting a light, but at least the light is held securely.

Just the right Quick set up tool

Since embracing the speed lite interphased with led light shoots, i have been on the look out for an easy to use versatile strobe mount like this product by Phottix. Made of durable metal composite- check. Next, Slim profile- check. Use for Easy expand and collapse soft boxes- check. Use for bowens mount boxes, Octas, EZ-glow boxes - loving this Phottix product. The spring mount clamp makes flash attachment such a breeze for me on outdoor or indoor location shoots and in my studio too. I am buying a few more, not just one more. This is a must buy for location/outdoor pro's with the mount to attach umbrella's or brolly soft boxes / octas. I own the godox thingy too, but this is my go-to, the spring tension clamp is sweet to use.

Like the mythical Cerberus, the Phottix Cerberus Multi Mount has three heads. The standard round mount works with the range of Phottix Easy-Folder Softboxes. Add the Bowen-compatible mount - and traditional S-Mount compatible accessories can be used with your hot shoe flash. Swap that out for the Elinchrom-compatible mount and use Elinchrom's vast array of accessories with your hot shoe flash.

The durable and patented Phottix Griffin Universal Flash Mount holds many popular hot shoe flash models secure in a synthetic-lined spring-loaded clamp. The system was designed to be both durable and easy to use. A Phottix Varos Pro BG Umbrella Adapter is included to mount the Phottix Cerberus Multi Mount to a light stand or boom.
