Become the benchmark in professional broadcast media IP networks with the PHQXL 1U HD/2K 10GbE IP Rasterizer, featuring a compact form factor and cutting-edge technology. This advanced rasterizer inherits all the JT-NM Tested features of the Qx series, ensuring a seamless user experience with a consistent look and feel across platforms. Designed for real-time UHD IP workflows on 25G networks, the QxL supports video payloads up to 21Gbps and offers robust compatibility with 2110 and 2022-6 standards via generic 10G/25G SFP28 interfaces.
Fully equipped with 10G/25G IP capabilities, the QxL excels in generating and analyzing JT-NM TR 1001-1:2018, ST 2110-20 (video), up to four 2110-30 (PCM) and 2110-31 (AES transport) audio streams, and a 2110-40 ANC media flow. It features 2022-7 Seamless IP Protection Switching (SIPS) and AMWA NMOS IS-04 discovery and IS-05 device connection management, ensuring reliable and efficient media network operations.
The QxL's flexible architecture allows for in-field license upgrades, supporting SDI-UHD/4K, 2110-UHD/4K 48-60p RGB (EUHD), PCAP, Dolby E Decode, HDR, AV test signal generation, and engineering-grade data view and ANC packet inspection tools. A factory-fitted hardware option enhances its capabilities with real-time SDI eye and jitter analysis, along with an optional advanced SDI-STRESS toolset.
Equipped with a comprehensive suite of IP monitoring tools, the QxL supports JT-NM TR 1001-1:2018, 2110-20 (video), 2110-30 (PCM audio), 2110-31 (AES transport), and 2110-40 ANC media flows, all with 2022-7 SIPS. It also features independent PTP followers on both media ports for fully redundant media network operation.
The ST 2110 Analysis Feature Set offers operator-level IP flow health and PTP monitoring with warnings and alarms. The new IP-MEAS toolset provides advanced engineering-grade information, including four 2022-7 Packet Interval Time (PIT) displays, media port network statistics, real-time measurements of Flow to PTP relationships, latency, and real-time measures of 2110-21 Cinst and Vrx.
For 12G-SDI physical layer and stress analysis, the QxL includes Real-Time Eye technology to highlight SMPTE compliance issues, such as eye amplitude, transition times, and overshoot. The SDI-STRESS toolset offers Short Mean/Mode analysis with a histogram overlay, exploring eye amplitude, and PRBS generation and analysis for deterministic measurement of link Bit Error Rates.
The QxL generates and analyzes a variety of SDI/IP formats, capable of producing two sets of video and audio ST 2022-7 flow pairs, including test patterns and GUI flows. It supports up to 32 channels of embedded audio per link or subfield, with a maximum of 128 channels on 12G interfaces. Users can define a combination of SDI stress and conventional generator patterns up to full frame.
The Dolby E Decoder and Metadata Analyzer option provides a clear view of Dolby E metadata in selected audio streams, ensuring correct timing and transparent transfer through network equipment. The AMWA NMOS toolset offers flexibility in integrating with NMOS controllers and network topology, supporting protocols like IS-04 and IS-05.
The QxL's user-defined instrument layout allows for media analysis in HD/3G environments, displaying up to 16 simultaneous windows. Users can save multiple display layouts as presets, facilitating quick transitions between different operational tasks, such as audio, HDR, or IP focus.
The analysis and monitoring toolset includes picture view, waveform, vectorscope, 32-channel audio metering, detection of Dolby formats, ANC status and payload, on-screen display of OP47 and CEA-608 in 708 closed captions, and Ancillary Time Code (ATC). The advanced HDR toolset supports all main live production SDR/HDR formats, offering a signal generator, CIE chart, Luma false color heat map, waveform monitor, and vectorscope, along with an extensive set of test patterns for comprehensive HDR visualization and analysis.
