Considering carefully my rating of this product was not an easy task. The PicoPix Micro is small and light weight (5 stars for that fact), the brightness is also a plus, and the carry bag is really nice, the tripod is alright. I needed a projector that I can use in my studio, when I need a quick sketch or to resize a reference photo to complete a painting. Honestly, this is not the product for that purpose. (2 stars for that.) I guess some You Tube art instructors get a few bucks for pushing a product, regardless if they use it themselves or not. The battery life is subpar, even compared to battery life of other electronics. The manual focus is most cumbersome and lacks the technical potential that I once came to expect from "Philips" products. I'm not going to run this projector into the ground, I'm just saying it's not what all the hype has it praised to be... Simple, cheap (Not $$$ cheap) simply cheap, for simple use, don't expect quick response from the remote either... I don't like that at all!

Not worth it, terrible connectivity. In this day and age no wireless and bluetooth, the connection is via cable only (not supplied, only a HMDI to HMDI MINI adapter is). No USB door, which is actually required for software update, meaning adapter needs to be purchased. In the end something that was supposed to be portable and hassle free isn't. Plus it's noisy, fan way too loud.

For its size this is truly a marvel. You get fairly good image quality and brightness (for the size) in an ultra-portable package. Feel very well built and kids love it. What makes the experience average is the super-loud fan. Yes you can use external speakers, but even then the fan noise is beyond noticeable Other than that just be aware that if you plan to AirPlay content from mac/iphone/ipad, then airplay does not allow DRM content (e.g. netflix). You need the right lightning/usb<->hdmi cables to play such content.

I purchased this product for my family and I to watch films outdoors as we frequently visit our small lake cottage over the summer. For the price this projector has a good video quality but the focus wheel for projection is a bit small and takes some finesse to dial in the best picture. I enjoy that it has an internal battery but I prefer to use an external power bank when watching content an hour plus in length. The internal speakers are only 2W so I prefer to use the 1/8 audio output into a larger speaker. Regardless, I think at this price point this is a nice packable piece of tech that brings my family together to watch films and does the job well.

I didn't want to buy a real tv for them, and the possibility to take it away easily is a must, the size is enough for their room and they mostly use it with screen mirroring from a tablet. They use it on an outlet, so i can't say anything about the battery, i know that they say its a bit noisy with the fan, but i also know its kind of normal for its size, and i don't hear them complaining when they go to my parents house and bring it with them. The only thing missing is maybe a better tripod to make it vertical, but i am a photographer so i had a spare.

Really, what in the world is this ? thats the kind of stuff they got in area 51 for sure because its blowing my mind. How did they produce something so tiny with that much power in it, the lumens are out of this world, i can't believe we are almost to a point where you can project a 50" screen with something that fit in the palm of your hand. the futur is really amazing I got it for x-mass and it took me a while to use it because of work, but this projector is impressive, i don't care for the sound i use an headphone
