Video and Audio Level Checking
While maintaining its sophisticated design, this dual input single analyzer module is engineered to test one input physical layer, offering automated eye and jitter measurements. It's specifically designed to integrate seamlessly with the Rx2000, Rx1000, and Rx500 rack mount range, enhancing their functionality and performance.
The PHRXM-AE module, included in this package, provides advanced analyzer functionality for two concurrently connected SD-SDI, HD-SDI, or Optical inputs. This high-tech feature allows for simultaneous signal analysis, making it a valuable tool for professionals who require real-time data.
Once the module is installed, the Analyzer menu displays a variety of monitoring options. The Picture viewer, for instance, allows you to monitor the selected input, ensuring the signal is present, correct, and functioning optimally.
The Vectorscope feature enables you to check the hue, saturation, and phase of the selected input, with controls provided for selecting the line(s) to be monitored. This is ideal for checking any embedded test pattern in the selected feed, the field to be checked, and the graticule scale.
The Waveform Monitor allows for precise checking of video content levels. It provides controls for selecting the waveform (YCbCr, Y, Cb, Cr, GBR, Red, Green, or Blue), the horizontal and vertical scale, and the line(s) to be monitored.
The Audio monitor, capable of handling 16 embedded audio channels at 48 kHz, 20-bit (SD-SDI) 24-bit (HD-SDI), allows you to check the audio levels of the selected input. It also provides a visual display, and the selected audio channel can be monitored via the front panel loudspeakers or headphone jack.
The Eye Pattern monitor allows for real-time analysis of the level of jitter present in the selected source. Controls are provided to isolate specific frequencies of jitter to ensure they are within acceptable tolerances.
Lastly, the Jitter monitor measures the amplitude of jitter present in the selected source against time. It provides controls for scaling and filtering to isolate specific jitter types, making this module an innovative and precise tool for signal analysis.
