Enhance your audio analysis capabilities with the Dolby E-D-D+ Bitstream Analyser Software Option for PHRXM-AE, PHRXM-AGE Module, and Rx2000, Rx1000, Rx500 Instrument Chassis. This advanced software option, also known as PHRXO-BDA, is designed to display and analyze Dolby E, Dolby Digital, and Dolby Digital Plus metadata present in selected audio streams.
Developed by the renowned Dolby Laboratories, these audio encoding and decoding technologies are integral to high-quality audio production. The software option meticulously determines the timing of the Dolby packet embedded within the SDI video stream, ensuring optimal audio-video synchronization.
The Dolby E feature of this software supports up to 8 channels of lossless compressed audio, including mono, stereo, 5.1, and 7.1 configurations. This makes it ideal for analyzing primary programs and optional ancillary programs, including popular formats like Dolby 7.1, which utilizes eight channels to deliver immersive surround sound.
The Dolby Digital (AC3) feature, on the other hand, supports up to six channels of lossy compressed audio, including mono, stereo, and 5.1 configurations. This feature is particularly useful for analyzing Dolby 5.1 programs, which leverage all six channels to provide a comprehensive surround sound experience.
For more complex audio configurations, the Dolby Digital Plus feature supports up to 20 channels of lossless compressed audio, ranging from mono and stereo to 5.1, 7.1, and even up to 13.1 configurations. This feature also allows for the analysis of optional ancillary programs.
The software option also includes a feature to verify the correct creation and transparent transfer of the Dolby packet, ensuring it remains unaffected by routers/switchers, satellite links, and other potential interference. Please note that this software does not decode Dolby audio.
In conclusion, the Dolby E-D-D+ Bitstream Analyser Software Option is a powerful tool for anyone seeking to ensure the highest quality in audio production and analysis.
